We had the most delightful and delicious lunch today. We live kinda far away but if we find ourselves in the area we have to stop. We love the western ambiance and it’s always clean, warm and cozy. We got superb service from Krysty and Hallie and we had a lot of questions. They were very knowledgeable about everything. Best potato skins we’ve ever had! I ordered the bbq bacon wrapped shrimp which came with salad greens. My husband had the juicy Western burger with a fresh green salad with homemade croutons I’m sure. Everything was just perfect. Cooked perfectly. The only thing I would like to say is that I wish that they offered like fish and chips or chicken strips on the lunch menu.
All that with 2 n/a drinks for only $57, including a 20% tip because they were so wonderful. We definitely will be going back soon even though we don’t need to be in the area. What a gem to have in this rural area.

The food was amazing, we came for the prime rib on Saturdays and it did not disappoint. The mozzarella sticks are homemade and delicious. The service was fast and everyone was so kind. We will be back for breakfast I’m sure for some more of that country gravy!

We came on Taco Tuesday and got the nachos and their “Ringo Burger” which is a BBQ Burger.
Very good on both accounts.
Our server patiently answered all our questions and was so charming.
We are excited to be back many times, as we are new to the area and wanted to find our new regular spot.

Hidden Gem! Friendly and fast service. I had a really great cup of clam chowder (Friday) and the Italian Grinder is now my lunch and dinner! The pasta salad was better than average… and WiFi is fast to boot!

Want good, down-home food? This is the place! Generous proportions, too! The side salad is a lunch on its own. My favorite is the Reuben sandwich, served on grilled marbled rye bread. Delicious! We also got an open-face chili burger, half of which came home with us because it was such a big serving.

This place used to be The Hitch’n Post Cafe. Was my first real job as a kid, dishwashing. Before that was either mowing lawns, picking berries, or taking back pop cans. Definitely stirred up some memories. Seeing how much the place has changed, it’s beautifully done here. Really enjoy the atmosphere. The lady here serving is really kind to! Excellent family atmosphere,all of it. Completely recommend coming in and having a meal here. Whether alone, on a date night or with family.

Well I quick stopped in here the other day to theow a $20 in the machine , played for an hour lost, hit the ATM for another $20 rinse and repeat as usual, 2 hrs later not once did any of offer me anything to wet my middle and drown in my potty. But beside that, I had stopped in to eat many times, their omelette are amazing, something about the cheese I thought. Yum, and service is excellent always still er upper on the coffee, and of course a happy smile on the face!! Great food and service !

Nice local place. Beer selection is ok – what you would expect for each type of beer – standard Portland area IPAs, Pfriem Pilsner, Mac and Jack Amber. Food is really good. A big step up from your average pub fare but not a step up in price. This place would be the bomb if they got a bit more adventurous in their beer options.

I had the brisket hash topped with eggs over easy. Very good food, prices aren’t bad either. I also tried one of the burgers on the lunch menu a few months earlier. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

We had appetizers and dinner tonight. Wayyyyy too much food. Homemade mozzarella sticks, pretzel sticks with fondue, chicken fried steak and French dip. All of it was delicious. We were greeted promptly at the door and our server, Jessica, was efficient and friendly. We will be back.
