After kayaking at Marsh Creek State Park, we were looking for a dinner where we could eat outside with our dog. Beaver Creek Tavern was close, convenient, and still open. We ate on the front porch and enjoyed a very pleasant dinner. We had burgers, chili, and really good sweet potato fries. The server was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Great atmosphere! There was cheering from a group watching the Phillies play inside, which was fun background noise, and another customer stopped by to see our pup.

We had a group of 6 ppl. The food was very good & the service from Diane was excellent as usual. We sat in the dining area. It was great for catching up with our family. Not too noisy. We come here often when we are back in town to meet with our local family. We made reservations. Reservations recommended for larger parties , especially on the weekends.

We are always on the look out for local spots that have great chicken wings and French Onion soup so we were psyched to hear Beaver Creek Tavern about 6 minutes off Route 30 in Downingtown supposedly id one of the best. Walking into the tavern felt like you went back in time. Place was small and charming. The bartender was great considering she was the waitress too and for a Thursday afternoon, the place was jumping. The warning sign about DUI suggested this is a place where heavy drinking goes down and one table was obliging as they slammed Long Island iced teas at lunch. Clearly this spot prioritizes the cooks over the customers as it opens at noon but no food orders are allowed until 12:15. The French Onion soup was ok, the wings were not well done like I asked but were tasty and a nice size with a good buffalo sauce. Plenty of celery and blue cheese too. No beer list but they had non alcoholic Heineken. Overall it was okay, not worth a return visit.

Driven by this place countless times on the way home. Decided to try it and I’m pretty happy I did. Comfy location with a good amount of parking. Nice bar and a warm dining area. All the food was great. One of the things that impressed me was that the medium rare burger was actually cooked exactly as I requested.
Menu had a nice range of selections. And the service was so good. Our server made us feel like we were her only table…so attentive and never gone for too long.
I’d recommend you give Beaver Creek a try.

Took my family for the first time. The atmosphere was warm and homey. I felt like I was part of the neighborhood. The staff was nice and food came out prompt. The loaded nachos were loaded and better than most places. My steak was better than expected. Prepared right and super tender. The kids meals were good portions and they ate everything. Look forward to going back.

Stopped to grab a bite to eat while traveling. Atmosphere was really nice with a small town feel (ate in the dining area, not the bar) Server was amazing; friendly, polite, checked up on us, overall great experience with the staff. Asked for bison burger to be medium rare, but it came out a bit more rare than I expected (photo). Even with that, the food was great (well prepared and tasty)…I could hardly wait to take a picture of it before diving in and eating (yeah I took a bit). Salad was fresh and tasted good too! Also found out we got to sit at the table next to the owner of the place (he was super friendly and courteous). If we’re back in the area, we would stop here again, and I recommend you do too!

Alright, picture this: Girl walks into a bar, specifically the Beaver Creek Tavern. Not looking for trouble, just looking for some good eats and maybe a little less drama than a Real Housewives reunion. And for the most part, Beaver Creek delivered! Let’s break it down, shall we?
First, the food. Oh, the food. Those Asian wings? Chef’s kiss (even though they were crying out for a sprinkle of scallions – come on, guys, garnish game strong!). The French onion soup? Rich, flavorful, the kind of soup that makes you want to curl up by a fire…if the fire was fueled by pure, savory goodness. But the real star of the show? That Kennett Square mushroom flatbread. Forget everything you think you know about flatbread. This was an out-of-this-world experience. I’m pretty sure I saw angels descending from the ceiling when I took the first bite. Seriously, just order it. You won’t regret it.
Now, for the slight hiccup in our otherwise delightful evening. Our server? An absolute gem. Attentive, friendly, kept our drinks flowing like a well-oiled machine. Five stars for her! However… ahem… the bartender. Let’s just say she was having a moment. Apparently, a gentleman dared to ask if she knew how to make a vodka martini. The audacity! The scandal! She proceeded to regale the entire bar with the tale of this poor, unsuspecting first-time customer, complete with dramatic eye rolls and enough volume to make the local wildlife scatter. Honey, we get it. You’re a mixology goddess. But maybe, just maybe, dial it down a notch? A little less “Bartender: The Musical” and a little more “Cheers,” please.
So, overall? Four out of five stars. Amazing food, great service, just a touch of…let’s call it “spirited” entertainment behind the bar. Would I go back? Absolutely. Just maybe bring earplugs in case the martini saga continues.

It was all good! I’ve only had dinner once. Highly recommend bacon whiskey burger, you won’t need anything else.
We sat out front on a beautiful afternoon.
Ryan is definitely a five star server, thank you.
Very relaxing and a good crowd.

Really cool tavern near Downingtown. Food was good, but would not reccomend the cobb salad – it’s a salad, but nothing “cobb” about it. Next time will try something else. But what we had was fresh and flavorful, so it is still a solid option.
