9/24- Their chicken sandwich with cheese and bacon comes together well with a lot of crispy bacon and crunchy bread.

August 2024 – One of the special menu of the week orders was basically chicken and waffles with a twist of poutine and pickles. Interesting. The standard menu grilled chicken sandwich is delicious and one of their healthier choices. It is a popular place and so packed last week there were no parking spaces available of their own, but you can park in an adjacent spot. Closed Sunday and Monday. Open until 7 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Tuesday and Wednesday hours are 11-3:30 pm.

Nice place for locals or visitors driving down Rte 44 to pull over for some feel-good food. Outdoor seasonal seating. Customers order at the counter and are called when their order is done or wait staff brings the food to your table. We sat outside and asked the waitress if we needed to come back in to pick up our food, and she said, no, she would bring it to us.

After a half an hour, I was about to get up and inquire how long it took for two burgers to be made with light traffic, when the cook himself came out with our food and nicely said he thought we left him hanging. ?

Anyway, both burgers were very good and cooked to temperature. The Beau’s Burger Bleu, with blue cheese and bacon, was very tasty, and the Mushroom & Swiss was equally so. Fries with my meal were the right combination of crispy and soft. My companion wanted onion rings, so this was added to the bill as a side. I’ve eaten here before doing reviews and always liked their chili dog.

They do have salads, soup, and chili for those who do not want a burger and chicken tenders for kids. On the high end, they have lobster rolls – I was tempted to try one as I love to compare these, and the Shrimp Po’ Boy, whole belly clam and clam strip platter also sound promising. There is much to try here with an easy stop off the road.

Overall Beau’s was a very cute local burger joint, atmosphere felt old school…which was nice. Chain restaurants are good for what they are, but it’s very nice to pull up to a local spot that’s family owned and feels much more personal….. that is what Beau’s feels like.

We ended up ordering just a regular burger with the traditional toppings (lettuce, tomatoe, onion, pickle and ketchup/mustard). We also ordered a side of fries and potato salad. It all tasted pretty darn good, I could tell the vegetables were fresh and possibly local, potato salad tasted homemade and the fries were good as well. Not sure if the burger patty was fresh, seemed to be from frozen, but with fresh veggies the flavor was still good. The fries were cooked perfect for my liking, cooked just long enough to be a little crunchy, but still nice and soft on the inside. Some places cook the fries too long and they are almost as crunchy as potato chips!

Oh, they also have some very cute seating in the back, serveral tables with umbrellas in a small fenced-in area. Very cool, my daughter appreciated the extra space to run around. So overall solid place, good food and very friendly staff.

Love this place, if you’re in Canton I highly recommend. Just had the stew, it was great. Great burgers and dogs, along with milk shakes.

I go specifically for their whole belly clam platter….I believe the price was 28 dollars..Delicious, cooked perfect, The batter used to fry clams was spot on. Platter could have benefited with just a few more clams!!

We’ve been here twice now and the lovely people working here surprised my daughter with a little cup of ice cream. The burgers are tasty, classic, and fresh. The sweet potato fries are crispy and delicious. We will absolutely be coming back!

The food is good hey it’s a shack. The prices are high and they skimp on the size of the sandwiches. Otherwise they could easily be a five-star.

The food was so awful I can’t even describe. Even the ketchup tasted spoiled. How does that happen? What kind of “poutine” is this? Your gravy just tasted like brown water. Gross

Honestly, I try to find the good in every place I go, from restaurants, to gyms, even to grocery stores. This place has the allure of a drive-in. Looks great from the outside, local customers sitting at the outside tables. The buns are decent! The burgers are boring, basic, and expensive. There’s potential here, but they need to spend a little more time on updating the menu with their own favorites, finding higher quality ingredients, pricing based on quality, and notifying customers when their order is ready. Fair pricing and quality food would make it less of a stab in the heart when the “Leave a Tip” screen comes up. $18.75 for a bbq bacon burger and regular fry is…. Whatever you think it is. Seems like a lovely family running it, but I think we can take some steps forward.
