I had a disturbing experience with a bartender who displayed blatant racism. I was ordering wine to go for my husband and, while signing the check, he insisted I give him a tip of 10-20%. I chose to give him a 20% tip out of courtesy. However, he kept pulling the pen away as I was trying to write. When I told him I was a US citizen, he dismissed my answer and demanded to know where I was “really” from. I explained that I was from Indonesia, and as I walked away, he had the audacity to say “xie xie” (thank you in Chinese). This behavior is unacceptable and outright disrespectful.

Had asked for a glass of pinot nior . I didn’t like the one I tasted that was 18 per glass so he suggested a drier one. Lo and behold price mot discussed, my fault. It was 50 a glass ! I hate when they upsell without disclosing the price! Shocked two glasses of wine 100!

The classical piano lured me in … Cesar kept me there with his friendly smile and calm under pressure demeanor. He is so patient and knowledgeable. A great place for some cheese, meats, salad and of course wine. He also has liqour and beer if that is your forte. Slainte!

This is an absolute terrible place! I’m aware that airport prices are a bit steep but here they make sure you get robed on top of a super rude treatment. While I was being robbed for a beer and a salad, my child was sitting at the public piano playing it gently, and suddenly one of the socially challenged bartenders, not hindered by any form of intellect, walked up and pushed him away and slammed the key-lid in front of his face while literally screaming that it was not a toy.
Yes, it’s an airport bar but a little bit of decency and respect towards your customers would be nice after paying $35 dollars for a beer and a salad. For that money you would expect that the owner should be able to effort a bartender that isn’t retarded….

Avoid the food. Look at the picture of this “fresh” arugula. Pretty sure it was past expiration (printed date was smudged) or very close to it. While this is an airport food establishment, and priced like an upscale restaurant, they need to do better in quality control. Will look for their last health inspection date. If the inspector saw this sandwich, I doubt it would pass.

Meh, it’s airport food what do you expect. They only had this available to eat when i was there an egg salad with limp cold bacon on a cold croissant (With some wimpy arugula underneath ….and wimpy grapes). Other than that the bloody mary was delicious! Stop for the drinks before your flight, not for the food.

The bartender provided subpar service and demonstrated a lack of urgency, which is essential in a fast-paced environment. Waiting 20 minutes for a drink and an additional 20 minutes to close a tab is unacceptable, especially when patrons may have time-sensitive commitments, such as catching a flight. This level of inefficiency needs to be addressed to improve the overall customer experience.

Horrible customer service staff is not friendly at all. I went for a cuppa coffee and one of their butter chicken samosas. After I told the employee the coffee is like water can you make a little stronger? I didn’t mind to pay the difference, but I employee acted like I try to get more out of my money he tells me I’m holding up his line and complaining about something that is not a big deal I said buddy the coffee taste like water and it’s horrible. Can you make a little bit stronger he said it will be a charge I said I don’t mind he gave me a rude service with a very bad attitude and you tell me I know what you’re trying to do and I said what am I trying to do , then he didn’t said anything. Also, they spec you to give them tip on every transaction you go in there they have a tip basket sitting in the front after being so expensive they spec you to give them tip. They only nice to the people who gave them tip are experiencing never going again first time and the last time.

Great memories here to be honest. I always visit when I’m at O’Hare and it usually caters great conversation and very considerate staff. Prices are way to high, but it’s expected at the AP. Wine is good as are their small bites. Convenient location.

There isn’t a reason I could give it a 4, so I’m giving it a 5! It’s in the second or third busiest airport , so the prices ain’t cheap, but the wine is perfectly chilled and hits the spot compared to the crap you usually find in a terminal. Shrimp cocktail was outstanding…they include a remoulade as well so you’re getting a salad too! Cesar calls you by name and acknowledges a tip…what a pleasure that is! Makes a two hour layover perfectly manageable. I’ll be sad when I don’t need to make my monthly trips to WI any longer!
