We had a very good experience and the food and service were outstanding! Started with some crab dip which made for a good shareable. The stuffed flounder was well prepared and I loved the cream sauce and green beans/haricot verts. There were 4 of us. The scallop entree was amazing with a large fried rice ball. Another entree was the salmon which was a huge serving, maybe slightly over cooked but very flavorful. The last entree was the shrimp and grits and did not disappoint at all. It was also a large portion. Desserts included the tres leches which was not made in house but wow it’s a great dessert and I loved the little sugar pearls in there. The tiramisù was a little different but great flavor. I think there’s almond extract in there. The brownie dessert was huge and I’m not sure if it’s because my friend doesn’t do dairy and skipped the ice-cream but it’s delicious! There’s parking in the back. Good selection of wines. Go in lower level door and there are 2 levels of dining inside.

Food was excellent! High quality food, prices comparable with presentation, flavor, and overall excellence. Seating was cheap- didn’t match overall atmosphere. Waitstaff was friendly and professional but seemed displaced. This place has more potential than it shows. Atmosphere and staff does not dress the part for the quality of food served. It’s trying too hard to be upscale with a beach theme? Not sure. Worth going to, just has a confusing atmosphere.

We went here for the first time this evening & I was super happy. We had a beautiful view overlooking the sound. The fried oysters were phenomenal! My husband loved his stuffed flounder & the shrimp and grits were pretty good as well. I really wish the short rib was in stock, I definitely wanted to try that. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

This place is the place to go if you really want some fine casual dining!
We had a crew of 11 roll in there and we all had a pretty good time.
The restaurant itself was somewhat of a maze, so i didn’t get to see it all. it was, however, so loud that you could only hear half the table. This isn’t the worst thing to have at a restaurant, but there are ways to mitigate this like acoustical panels and things like that.
The servers were really great! they seemed very busy and were professionally attentive. Chase kept the bread rolls coming!
The food was pretty good, but could have been better for the price. I ordered seared scallop scampi and i really liked it! It was very salty. I nabbed a bite of the lamb dish and that seemed to be very delicious so i would order that next time i go.
The prices were really high but luckily i wasn’t paying!
Good job to the beauchaines 211 crew! A little bit of improvement can go a long way!

Busy. Saturday night suggest do reservations. Fried green tomatoes salad best on island. Flounder crab delicious. Weird that they serve local beer in Ballast Point glasses. I’m cool with that since live in San Diego.
Update oct 2023. Family went (8) had reservations. Excellent meals. Good service. The bison meatballs and torillini excellent. A little pricey but we all recommend.

I came here after my engagement this past weekend after hearing how great this place was. I will be honest, this place is over hyped. The service was amazing, I will say that. But their food was average at best. I asked for medium rare and got a rare steak. Which is fine, but even if the steak was cooked to my liking, I still wouldn’t consider it a GREAT tasting steak. Yes it was tender, but they try to make up for the lack of taste by adding the blue cheese on it. My fiancé got their renowned special, the flounder. And she had a bone or something that was solid that she almost chocked on.
I don’t hate the place, but certainly wouldn’t be go to spot in surf city. (We live in North Topsail)

We got the scallops & scampi and shrimp patty & grits. I’m always skeptical of fancy places grits. I don’t like boujee grits, I like down home grits. They have mastered the finesse of making these grits boujee but keeping that down home flavor *applause*
The scallops were big and the sauce was light. I added some of the sauce from the shrimp and grits dish to the pasta and it was just what my pregnant tastebuds needed.
Our server John was incredibly thoughtful and provided excellent service!
(Phone did not eat first for the pictures, but I promise the plating was beautiful! I was just eager to eat!)

Excellent service, food is out of this world. Try the Shrimp and Grits (the house specialty) and the Scallops. Make a reservation in advance as the restaurant fills up quickly. We will surely return the next time we are in the Topsail area.

We used to love this place. Granted we haven’t been in 5years, but it had always been our favorite on the island. I wish I had checked the reviews first. They aren’t wrong, the food was super bland. Even additional salt couldn’t fix it. Services was good, though hard not to be when there are only 2 tables of people. I hope they turn it around, was sad to see how bad it has gotten.

Absolutely amazing food! I’d go back just for the Brussels Sprouts and sweet nachos starters! The coq au vin was delicious. We were here for a wedding party, and the service was absolutely first rate. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I have to thank Dayna for looking after us so well, she was wonderful, and went above and beyond. If I am ever back in the area, I will be back for sure!
