Had a great experience at Beau Jo’s Pizza. The pizza was delicious and unique, especially their famous Colorado-style crust. The portions were generous and the overall taste was very satisfying. The place had a warm, lively vibe and service was friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving good pizza! More vegetarian options should be served.

Beau Jo’s Pizza in Idaho Springs is hands-down the best pizza I’ve ever had. I know they have a couple other locations, but nothing beats the charm of the Idaho Springs spot. Their pizza is incredible, and they’re the only place I’ve ever been that serves their crust with honey and trust me, dipping that thick, delicious crust in honey is a game changer. It’s so good.
Idaho Springs itself is such a beautiful little mountain town, and Bojo’s is the perfect place to stop if you’re heading from Denver up into the mountains. Great food, great vibes, and a great location. Highly recommend stopping in and don’t skip the honey. Thanks for reading!

I had never heard of Colorado style pizza until a few weeks ago. I love pizza, so I had to stop by and try it out. Nice tavern in the town. The person at the front got me seated quickly at the bar. The gentleman that helped me was great. He gave me a few recommendations, then let me feel things out. I decided to get both the garlic cheese bread and a loaded up “Motherlode” mountain pie. It didn’t take too long for the food to be ready. The garlic cheese bread was really good – great cheese pull and the bread was nice and crispy. No sogginess. The marinara was very nice. The mountain pie… was huge…. for a “small”. Brace yourself if you get one just for yourself. I actually really enjoyed it. The balance of the cheese and the meat on the motherlode was nice. Wasn’t greasy even with all of those meats. So, I suppose one of the key concepts of this pie is that you take the crust, and then you dip it into the honey. At first, I found this a little strange, but I tried it, and with how thick the crust was I think I kind of liked it. I recommend giving this place a try and trying out Colorado pizza!

This restaurant was absolutely amazing! There was no wait, the serves were kind and the food came out quick. This is the best pizza I’ve had in a long time and with the honey on top of the crust is a great ad on choice. Perfect for families or couples. Great place to stop for a quick bite.

A great pizza place! We absolutely loved the pizza! Can’t wait to visit again! We had a pepperoni pizza, half with banana peppers! It did not disappoint! This is some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Great service and atmosphere! This place was hopping busy…we visited on a Wednesday afternoon in November and we had to wait at least 30 mins to get a table! Let me say again…some of the best pizza ever!!!

Great place! Food not so much, wings with tortilla chips? It doesn’t even say that in the menu, I wated almost 30mins just to get that? They were the worst ones I’ve ever had! Pizza with A LOT of tomato sauce, couldn’t even feel all the other ingredients

so this was middle of the road entire experience. first of all i was not thrilled to see the salad bar maybe they moved it or covid took it out. not amused to still see it gone that was one the fun pieces.
we went years ago and the whole experience was just fun old mining motif and quiet and pretty good stuff.
this? this was definitely not fun. 25 minute wait and we got sat out on the back deck which appeared to be a porch for people and their dogs.
the service was uniform. ive seen this kinda service before when i worked in restaurants. it gets soooooo out of control busy that the servers are what do you want? here it is eat and get out. their goal is to turn as many tables as possible quickly to keep up with the demand.
lastly… the food. was not real great. i ordered it and of course i was looking forward to mountain pie and we got this flat pizza with tomato sauce. which we should have asked for something different because my kids allergic to tomatos but again it was so overrun and busy i didn’t have the heart to say anything and of course the kid broke out in a nice chin rash.
what i do not understand is there is boat loads of room. so why are they not utilizing those rooms when its that busy?

Great spot for pizza or other fair. The pork green chile is great. The nachos were good but skip the queso and go shredded cheese. Also skip the green chile and just get a cup of green chile and dip them in. A half order is very big.

Stopped by for an early dinner on the way home. I wanted chicken wings. Thought about pizza but decided on chicken wings , stuffed mushrooms , and a yummy cranberry salad when I got there. This venue is in the town that started the gold rush. It has a lot of history and old dwellings. This location is one of my favorites. It has a rustic charm to it that invokes nostalgia, history and a show of old purpose. The food is delicious and pizza is its forte. Their pizzas is the best pizza ever ! I’ve traveled and had pizza all over this country. But now, when I think of pizza , I think of Beau Jo’s bc Beau Jo’s have perfected the art of pizza making and its recipe across the board. All I have to say about their food , is no matter what you get, it’s gonna be delicious and you’ll be happy with everything you choose. The portion of our salad was perfect for 2 also. You can get the wings dry rubbed or with sauces. I ordered the dry rub and it was perfectly cooked. The stuffed mushrooms were served hot and delicious. Our server was sweet, quick , considerate and honest. Never had slow or bad service there. We were seated right away. No waiting. The dining areas are spacious with plenty of seating. No booths just tables and there’s a bar. It’s a place you can take family , colleagues and have meetings at. The atmosphere is casual, friendly and inviting for all ages. You’ll see lots of nostalgic pictures from the past and old art that were once used long ago. An old mining shaft is on display too. The bathrooms are located on the ground level by the stairs and the rest are upstairs. There is also outside dining if you prefer. There are 2 entrances. The front and the back. Depending on your time of arrival , you will have to pay for parking either in the lot facing the highway or on the side of the street by it.

Fantastic pizza my son loved it. Inside there is plenty of tables but we sat in the bar area. Cute little town with street parking just off the main road. I definitely recommend stopping by. We enjoyed being able to watch sports at the bar as well and there were big tables to accommodate bigger parties as well. Loved the honey crust and the service was very nice as well. We will be visiting again soon. Thank you for the great hospitality
