No greeting on exiting but they did when I entered. I got looks when I left from customers and staff. It wasn’t the staff that served me. Which leads me to believe I would not have felt comfortable eating there after work. I probably will not eat there again tbh. $4 for parking which I wasn’t expecting and with no coupon. I left a 16% tip so that no greeting on exit was craptastic on their part but they did give greetings to everyone else when they left. Until next time.
I visited Beau Jo’s Pizza at the University location in Denver at 7:18 PM on December 26, 2025 and the customer service was extremely disappointing.
I traveled from South Denver, passing many other pizza places, because I expected the experience to match the reputation and the significant amount of money I spent. Unfortunately, it did not.
When I walked in, staff members were greeting other customers, yet I was completely ignored. I stood there for about two minutes without any acknowledgment no greeting, no eye contact, nothing. It made me feel invisible and unwelcome.
I addressed this with the manager, Denny (General Manager), expecting concern or accountability. His response was nonchalant, as if my experience didn’t matter.
The customer service was so poor that I didn’t even wait until I got home to leave this review I wrote it while sitting by the door. That’s how strongly this experience missed the mark.
I went out of my way and spent good money, but the experience did not match the cost, the effort, or the expectations. Customer service should begin the moment a guest walks through the door, and sadly, that basic standard was not met.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve how every customer is acknowledged and treated.
