Food: delicious and plated beautifully. My friends and I went for restaurant week and shared an assortment of the brunch dishes. They were all good!
Service: it was busy, but our waiter was still attentive and kind. Food came out FAST.
Atmosphere: gorgeous space with comfortable, intimate seating.

My friend and I came here late night before closing on a Saturday. It wasn’t terribly crowded so plenty of space at the beautiful bar. The inside is gorgeous! I love spots with that cozy plant aesthetic. I ordered a mocktail and was unfortunately given an actual cocktail with alcohol. I informed the bartender and he comp’d me and gave me the correct mocktail which was delicious! A suggestion for the staff would be to make mocktails with completely different names from the regular cocktails. Not just one changed word. I want to come back and try the food next time!

We came for happy hour before a show at the United center and had a great time. The service was fantastic, super friendly and helpful. We split the happy hour burger, fries, and chicken baos. Everything was delicious and came out very quick. The vibes in here are great and I would definitely return.

We came by for happy hour and had a great time in this beautifully decorated spot with great playlist. I love the glass ceilings with natural lights. My favorite are the fries, dolce picante, chicken bao, mezze board in that order. They are good portion and you’ll left filled. Good vibes good services!

After reading a couple of the negative on-line reviews for the service I was skeptical of what to expect when we made our reservation.
I believe the negative reviews are most likely a one-off. I am happy to say our experience exceeded all our high standards for great food & service!
I want to give a shout out to our server Brian and Mika’s attention to detail.
We chose the food from the menu for West Town Restaurant Week.
Food: Presentation-A, Quality-A, Serving sizes-A, Taste-A Menu-A
All the choices we made were flavorful and prepared to perfection. Off the charts delicious “CHOCOLATE BEIGNETS Apple Caramel Sauce”
Service: Attentiveness-A ; Brian introduced himself and was very personable (you could sense he was happy and took pride working for Beatnik ) Service-A; our water & wine were refreshed regularly, he checked on us spontaneously to see if we needed anything definitely not pushy. He had a sense of ease and confidence.
Menu Knowledge-A ; when we asked for recommendations on menu choice he was great at articulating and describing the food (asking about any food allergies, sensitivity to spices).
My friend and I both have family events (wedding party & book launch) scheduled at “Beatnik this summer. I hope Brian & Mika are part of the team working our parties. After last nights exceptional experience we are so excited!

I wish I could do five stars because the gnocchi I got was absolutely wonderful. But the drinks all tasted off and my friends got the chicken and something about it was very off. Our server was very kind but the restaurant was almost empty and the service was very slow. I recommend the gnocchi and the fries but stay away from the Hugo spritz the sins of our youth drinks.

This place is a boss of fusion foods and puts together amazing dishes that you won’t find anywhere else. I suggest anything. Don’t be shy because you will love anything you get here. Happy hour is a must and some of the apps and the mouth watering double cheese burger looked amazing.
The staff is very knowledgeable and if they don’t know something they will find out for you, but for the most part they know everything about the restaurant and almost every ingredient and form of preparation. Beautiful presentation in every dish and the flavors are manicured to the most finicky of palates.

This place gets a lot of hate in the reviews but it’s great. The food is great, the service is awesome, and there are comfy couches, and great decor. They have a skylight that is ornate. Definitely cost a lot to build this place up.
It’s a fusion of med and Asian foods. We came here on a Wednesday night, around 5:30pm. The place was almost empty but as we were leaving at 7 it was getting more busy.
For food we got a lot, mostly to share with each other (2 adults and 1 child). We got the Salmon Crudo, which was so fresh, so delicious. Za’atar Fries, which were crunchy, and perfectly salted. We also got the chicken musakhan, which was delicious, charred, and came with a great sauce.
We got a hummus and lamb meatball, it was very good. Finally we got the friend chicken bao. The taste was great with a spicy ish sauce. Nothing was too salty, or sour. It was all creamy and delicious. The drinks were tasty too.
For dessert we got a Hoosier Pie Company Chocolate and Strawberry pie, it was very thick.
This place allows kids but does not have a kids menu or kids drinks. It is kid friendly in a way.
They did have an NA Pina Colada, which was also creamy, and cold, and good.

Came here for my birthday with 3 other people. The food was absolutely amazing, and I love that it is family-style. My favorite dishes were the salmon crudo, wild mushrooms, and the chicken thighs. My friend also can’t eat cilantro, and the kitchen made us an avocado mousse instead of the cilantro mousse for the crudo – very accommodating kitchen service.
Unfortunately, the service at our table was pretty terrible. Our server took our drink orders, brought them over and then took our food order and then disappeared until we were almost done eating. A busser ran all our food out from the kitchen. After finishing our first cocktail early on, we had nothing to drink with our food.
I also don’t think they celebrate birthdays because we put a note on the reservation and said that we were celebrating my birthday and there was no additional anything, birthday dessert, drink, we were not even asked if we wanted to see a dessert menu.

We had the pleasure of dining at Beatnik in West Town for our rehearsal dinner and it was nothing short but amazing. When we first toured the space, we knew instantly that we would love to have the dinner there. The space is perfectly laid out with an incredible amount of plants (which we both love), and the perfect amount of room for all of our guests which in total we had 35. Even though we had our tour during the day, we were still extremely impressed with beautiful setting. On the day of the rehearsal dinner, the area was stunning. They made sure to block off part of the restaurant so we could have our own space so it was extremely intimate. Food wise we got the Beatnik Salad, Atlantic Salmon, Tuna Ceviche, and grilled asparagus. Beatnik was also kind enough to provide us with kid options as well. We wish we could ordered more because the food was unbelievably amazing. The staff were very helpful and accommodating for everyone which made the night even more special. -Kyle & Rachelle
