The service earned this restaurant it’s 3 stars. Otherwise, it would have been lower. So, let’s start there. The service was absolutely phenomenal. Honesty, this was the most attentive service I have ever experienced, but it wasn’t at all intrusive. Now to the food. We started with the fresh mozzarella plate. It tasted good, but the plate was a mess. It was sliced mozzarella and tomatoes accompanied by roasted red peppers, chickpeas, salt olives, diced raw onion, and random pirates of canned artichoke leaves, laying in leaves of lettuce. We chose the beef and vegetable soup as part of our entree, and it was delicious but a little salty. It was also light on vegetables, but still very good.
For dinner, we chose the chateaubriand (the other option was prime rib). It came out over cooked for that cut of meat. They didn’t ask how we wanted it, so when the waiter came back, we asked how it was intended to be. He said medium rare. Ours was medium well too well. He toom our plate and returned rather quickly with a medium rare replacement. Now to the dish itself. The chateaubriand had no sear, im guessing it was done completely in the oven. I’ve never had it like this, and im not a fan. The sides it came with were halvex potatos and carrots. It felt like a $137 pot roast. Overall, it was boring and not something I would go out for again.
The price rating is correct. it’s $100+ per person. I’ve been to other steakhouses in this price range, which provided a significantly better experience with respect to the food. Again, the wait staff was phenomenal.

Chef Payne is truly an artist in his craft. Everything was absolutely perfect, right down to dessert. started with the MASSIVE charcuterie board with everything you could possible imagine on it. Then came the DELICIOUS corn chowder, followed by the restaurant’s absolutely divine château Brion with the roasted chicken, potatoes and carrots. Dessert was a choice but i went with banana cream pie which i of course had to take home to enjoy later. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! what a fantastic experience.

This place is booked out at least 2 weeks so plan accordingly but make no mistake definitely worth the wait. We showed up at 10 minutes to 6:00 for the 6:00 seating the place was half empty within 10 minutes every seat was occupied. We were greeted by John who absolutely loves his job as front of the house. Our party of six was seated straight away we had pre-ordered the Chateaubriand as it seems did everyone else in the place from two tops to a 12 top. The shrimp cocktail appetizer and the fresh mozzarella tomato roasted red pepper appetizer were both big hits, John’s homemade cocktail sauce lives up to his boast. “It ain’t bragging if it’s true!” The Chateaubriand is it’s own experience, all my description won’t do it justice so just try it. Service was on point, observant, professional, smiling, energetic, fueled by John’s front man guidance and leadership. The team made it look easy to serve food and drink to a packed dining floor. Piece of cake..which brings me to dessert..chocolate mayo cake-yes…cheesecake-yes…tiramisu-yes.From start to finish, this is how going out for steak dinner should be done. Enjoy

This restaurant is one of the top three I’ve ever been to. The old fashioned menu is simple yet nicely varied. They serve a full menu on Thursdays and Fridays, which includes chateaubriand, prime rib, lamb chops, pork chops, shrimp scampi, etc., and only chateaubriand and prime rib on Saturdays.
The appetizers were very flavorful and complemented each other well. We ordered shrimp cocktail, which had huge shrimp and potent cocktail sauce, mozzarella and roasted red peppers, stuffed hot cherry peppers, and smoked salmon. I could’ve eaten two of each.
Then came the soup or salad. You’re a fool if you eat meat and order the salad instead of the beef soup. It’s arguably the best soup I’ve ever had.
Drum roll please …the chateaubriand…don’t let the simplistic presentation and “boiled dinner” appearance trick you, which belie the wonderful flavors of the sweet carrots, roasted potatoes, and most succulent beef tenderloin that you can literally cut with just a fork. In fact the only two utensils I used were the soup spoon and fork.
The cherry on top was the banana cream pie. I’m no connoisseur of banana cream pie, but it was good, albeit unnecessary at that point in the meal.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention our server extraordinaire and 3rd generation owner Bobby, who was very attentive and great at upselling. Don’t question him. Just nod and say yes please.
Not to come off as pretentious, but this place doesn’t even have a menu for their food, so price can be of no concern if you make a reservation. Just be prepared to open your wallet if you eat there, but I guarantee that you won’t be disappointed!

Great place to try. Not cheap, but food was great. It can get loud as it’s smaller with a full dining room of people.
