I have been dying for Bear’s Cup to open, and wow… it far exceeded my expectations. As a former NYC girly, I feel like I’m on very good authority when it comes to bagels, and the New Yorker was truly, truly one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. My friend and I literally gasped over the blueberry pastry; THAT good. On top of the food, it’s one of the cutest spots, and I am genuinely so happy to have this addition to Saratoga. Highly, highly recommend. SERVICE was exceptional, so friendly! And of course, the space is ADORABLE & so thoughtfully curated. They’ve thought of all the details, the entire experience was perfect & I can’t wait to take the rest of my family & friends!!

I’ve been here at least ten times now and have tried just about everything, and every single visit has been exceptional. I’ve interacted with so many of the staff and they’re genuinely some of the kindest people I’ve ever met anywhere. It honestly surprises me every time how consistently warm and friendly they are.

I truly believe a lot of the negative reviews come from a deeper resentment toward how well Bears Cup is doing, and it’s such a shame to see adults try to tear down a small, family owned business. I’m genuinely so grateful for this place because it’s my go to spot and I absolutely love it.

Also, today I tried their brown butter cookie latte and I’m not kidding when I say it was the best iced coffee I’ve had in my entire life. If you love cookie butter, you need to try it. It’s unreal.

I encourage everyone to give this place a try and experience it for themselves because it really is that good.

A full 10/10. Love Bears Cup so much!

We got there right when it opened. While there were a ton of people, it seemed like things were moving efficiently. Staff were friendly and seemed to be enjoying being there. Despite the crowd, it was a pleasant atmosphere to sit and eat inside. We aurally ate 2x over the weekend. The first day, I got the BEC. It was a touch greasy from all the cheese and butter and bacon but in a yummy way. My mom got a bear claw. The next day, I went with the New Yorker (minus tomato) and cinnamon roll chai (iced, less sweet). My mom picked the BLT. We got some treats to bring home- double chocolate croissant and coffee cage muffin. There was lots of salmon and the flavor and quality were terrific so I felt the price was justified. My mom loved her BLT. The drinks are expensive but it was a tasty splurge. The pastries were a touch on the dry side. It wasn’t completely perfect but we were pleased overall. This is definitely where we will be eating breakfast again in Saratoga. I’m so happy to see a local business in a beautiful building creating a positive community space (and somewhere with a parking lot!).

This cute bakery is STUNNING! The smell, the atmosphere, and the goods are out of this world! I stopped in on Wednesday to give the classic BEC on a croissant a try. And, it was everything and beyond! Then I had to go back Friday and bring some goodies home for my family. These goods traveled from Saratoga Springs to Pennsylvania.

Extremely busy bake shop that was decorated cutely for Christmas. Line was out the door before and after our visit. Full line of espresso/coffee drinks with seasonal and specialty flavor options. Fresh bagels and pastries are served until sold out. The service is quick and friendly. There is a free parking lot at the location. We ordered a sausage, egg and cheese on a sesame bagel as our only options left were sesame or poppy. The bagel was delicious with a nice chew. The egg was runny which was a turnoff. Not sure if this is the typical or rushed because of the heavy customer presence. Two iced lattes were ordered, one gingerbread and the other salted caramel mocha. The gingerbread wasn’t bad but the salted caramel mocha was soooo salty it couldn’t be drank. I’m sure they are still working out some kinks. Will go back in a couple months to see if there’s any changes. Be sure to go early if you want the full variety.

Mmmmmm oh my goodness!!! The food here definitely lives up to the hype imo. I have only gone once and already can’t wait to go back! I tried a bagel with cream cheese and I can’t quite explain it, but the bagel tasted soooo much better than anything I’ve ever had! Great flavor and consistency. The croissants are also amazing and super light and flaky. I haven’t even tried their coffee yet but I know I’ll be back soon! Can’t wait to try more items from the menu.

We went about noon and they did still have a decent selection left, especially of the bagels. The atmosphere is fun, too. Pretty old building with character and gorgeous custom wallpaper. It is a little more on the pricey side, but knowing that going in helped and the food itself was worth the higher price tag since you’re getting such quality food. It’s definitely pastries that are elevated!!! Not your typical 🙂

Finally, a nod to the service- it was wonderful! Everyone was really friendly and kind and they made us feel at home! Quick service, too, might I add. Plotting my return already!

Stopped at Bears Cup in Saratoga today and had a great experience. I love their Matcha Matcha, and today was my first time trying the spinach feta croissant – I loved it. The food was exceptional and I couldn’t believe how fast my food came out. Great service and a great visit!

This is the original firehouse in Saratoga and the owners of Bear’s Cup did an incredible job of designing the space to keep the beautiful details of the space while making it chic. And I might be biased but the custom wallpaper is stunning!!

The actual food is to die for. The pastries are the best I’ve had since growing up and living in Germany where we would go to France to get our fresh pastries. I absolutely LOVED their almond croissant. And their bagels are incredible too. The best part is the bagels are vegan so my daughter who has a dairy and egg allergy can eat them. They are the only place in town with vegan bagels. I also had a specialty salted caramel coffee which was delicious. I’ve already been eying up their chai for my next visit!

I highly recommend checking the Bear’s Cup out!

What an absolute treat to have a second Bears Cup location!

Every summer I take a couple of trips up to Bolton from Latham to visit their original location, and it always felt like a hidden gem with exceptional coffee and baked goods…the secret is definitely out now.

This new location offers a bright, open space with ample seating, gorgeous interior design, and seasonal decor. Every detail was so well thought out and intentional, down to the wallpaper design. Everyone we interacted with was extremely friendly, and very apologetic for running out of most of their baked goods by the time we got to the register to order. No way we could be upset about that though, considering the hype surrounding their opening, and the packed house all weekend.

My iced Salted caramel mocha latte was incredible, breakfast sandwich was divine. My favorite item on their menu was unfortunately sold out…but if you have a chance, do yourself a favor and get their Bear Claw. Easily one of the top 5 items I’ve ever eaten. Buttery, flakey, chocolatey…just unreal delicious!

I hope for my own sake that they die down a bit so I can ensure I get a bear claw next time I visit, but I’m happy to see their continued growth and success. The owner, Danielle was hustling alongside all of her staff on the floor and greeting customers with a smile. You can tell she is so very proud of her team and what they have built, and I’m happy to support someone so passionate and genuine. Congrats on a successful opening weekend!

My husband and I already had a day date planned to do some Christmas shopping BUT then Bear’s Cup announced they were opening on December 18th so plans got changed! The place is absolutely gorgeous. The staff is top-notch. You can really tell everyone loves working there and if you follow them on social media you can see that everyone is valued.

We ordered the salted caramel mocha, large drip coffee, classic BEC on an everything bagel and an apple caramel nest. Everything was delicious. It’s hard to describe with words but you can really taste the love, care and quality of the food and drinks. It’s so different from anywhere else.
