We are a small batch artisanal bakery & coffee-shop known for our NY style bagels and fresh baked daily breads and pastries. We operate our takeout window every day from 7am-2pm. Our pizza shop is open every day starting at 3pm with both to-go and dine-in options. We hope you can taste the homemade difference in our products that are made with love each day!

Shout out to the whole team at Bears Cup for always beating the expectations. I found bears cup accidentally a few years ago at the start of the pandemic and I’ve made it to them once a year for the last 5 years. Most people go to the lake for the lake… not us we drive 4.5 hours for the best pastries you can get. Being from downstate with all of the bakeries/ bagel places we have, truly everything pales in comparison. The everything bagel I’m not sure what the secret blend of seeds is but I’m pretty confident it’s just a standard mix. The secret has got to be love. And for all the chefs, you know the make or break of any meal is the amount of love. It’s my favorite weekend of the year; every year. The line can look long; it’s an illusion. The team is well prepped for the volume of customers, it moves quickly and efficiently every time. Absolutely worth it 5 stars isn’t enough.

The fruit danish was bursting with ripe, tangy blue berries and a sweet cream cheese filling that balanced beautifully. I also tried a cinnamon roll, and it was hands-down the best I’ve ever had — gooey, warm, and just the right amount of spice. The bagels are perfected seeded!

Best spot along Lake George for coffee and breakfast. Coffee is top notch (and good coffee is hard to find around Lake George, we have found), food is excellent and they have gluten free options including gluten free bread that is by far some of the best I’ve had. Can’t wait to see what the renovations bring!

We were staying in Lake George and made the trip to Bears Cup for coffee and bagels. The bagels were awesome, and the coffee was strong & delicious. We are stopping back to get a dozen bagels to take home. No seating with exterior ordering and pick up. There was a short wait during the weekend. This is definitely a must try place if you’re in Lake George.

What a pleasant surprise! When my friend suggested bagels and pastries while up visiting Lake George, I expected mediocracy. There is nothing mediocre about Bear’s Cup, as is indicated by the line of people waiting to order food immediately after it opens! As you’ll see in the pics, we got almost everything on the menu for a large group of friends, and everything was delicious. While the prices are a bit exorbitant for a bakery, I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

Our go-to is the 201 Breakfast Sandwich on one of their amazing ’Tato Buns. We also love the Bear Claw and the Double Chocolate Sea Salt Cookie. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious!
