First off it started out busy here but by the time we ordered it was clearing out. We took the last booth. Which had a bloody booger on the wall. We ordered our food. We got our salad but my friend didnt get her coleslaw till she got her food and had to ask for it. The cod that my bf got looked good. And my friend ordered the country fried steak which I had thought that I had also ordered my order came a little bit later. Which ended to be a steak! ( not country fried Which i would have asked medium rare but since it was a ribeye, thought it was weird that she asked) when I got my food i asked for a fork since they took it with my salad. 10 minutes later. She came and asked how things tasted. We told her I wouldnt know since I didnt have a fork. She brought me a fork by then my butter wouldnt melt on my potato and grabbed my bfs water . Then she wiped down all the tables down. He finally got his water she did adjust the price

First time visit and will most definitely be back. Went to Lunch on Father’s Day and was amazed by the food and service. The atmosphere is that great cozy diner feel, with extremely friendly staff. The food was delicious and got to our table in a very timely manner. Also very reasonably priced! Pictured is Cod Dinner & fries, Smelt Dinner with mash potatoes & gravy, and the Breakfast Meat lovers Quesadilla.

Well I have to say I like to keep these independent restaurants with truck stops and business but I’m so disappointed going in to get a hamburger and french fries and when the plate comes to me I can count my French fries at a glance for the price I paid for this meal there should be double the fries on that plate than I received although I have to say my server Grace was excellent and the hamburger I ordered which was the grizzly was excellent too

Had the big bear burger, wow. 10/10. Meat was cooked to perfection, and absolutely delicious. The server who helped me pay for my carryout was very friendly as well.

A very cute gas station restaurant that was playing funny animal videos while I was there which I love. The food was all hot and fresh, also the fries had a lovely crispness to them! Never had smelt before and it is fishy so if you don’t like strong fish flavor I would do the cod instead but I enjoyed it. Also the mozzarella sticks were fabulous! I dip everything in BBQ so I highly recommend. Also my husband loves mushrooms while my wife and I do not and the stuffed mushrooms smelled amazing!

Great little country diner. Staff is extremely friendly. Food was delicious and we found the portion sizes to be more than adequate. They need to buy a bigger “Giving Tree”, speaks volumes for the clientele and staff who make this place even more wholesome. We will be back

This place is amazing!! I had the hamburger steak dinner, with mashed potatoes and corn, and it was DELICIOUS!! It was very much like good home cooking. I didn’t want to stop eating it… LOL. Sorry, no pics cause I dove into it, . For dessert, I had the Lava Cake, and it was great also. Hot, tender cake, lots of chocolate with vanilla ice cream. Service was so personal and kind. Just the right amount of attention for a wonderful dinner. I don’t know why this place isn’t busier than it is. If you get a chance to stop by, then you should!!

Ordered the Blackened Cordon Bleu half pound hamburger and fries and deep fried oreos for desert.
Everything was excellent, hamburger was huge and taste great, fries were hot and the deep fried oreos were perfect. They tasted just like I was at the State Fair… Definitely be back to try more items.

The absolute BEST place to eat in Perry… good food, great service, happy/friendly employees… I haven’t had anything I didn’t like… and if you like chicken tenders – you need to try them from here… INCREDIBLE!
