Beautiful restaurant with nice seating and very clean. Loves the local fresh bread where donations went to charity! What a great thought. Had wild mushroom crostini for an appetizer as well, it’s small and would need 2 for a family of 4. Tried 2 of their specials the homemade linguini with clams and the king salmon dish both were good, but the halibut was by far the best main course! We all loved the flavors and it was cooked perfectly. Deserts were okay, the bread pudding was much better than the huckleberry cream Brule. Overall, great experience

One of the best restaurants in the valley! Had an early dinner here with my wife and sister, and every dish was fantastic. The mushroom crostini was absolutely mouth watering, and even a basic dish like the Mac and cheese felt elevated. The elk ragu main was delicious and perfectly portioned. Had a pork special as well which was just amazing. Add to all this a great ambiance, drink menu, and attentive staff and it all leads to a winner of a restaurant, we will be regulars!!

I had an excellent meal here tonight! I ordered the gazpacho as a starter and it was outstanding! The little jalapeno peppers added zip without too much heat. Nice dish!
I also had the filet mignon w vegetables of the day and the steak was a very nice cut and prepared well, though not quite as rare as I prefer, it was close. The carrots and broccoli are sourced locally and prepared well. The au gratin potatoes were rich and creamy, just an excellent meal.
Keenan’s service was prompt and friendly. I will definitely be back!

Had such a lovely vegetarian meal. The hen of the woods mushrooms were delightful and the stir fry veggie quinoa was bomb. Also loved their wines by the glass, had a nice California cab!

figured we would try this place out after hearing about it. they recommended reservations so I made them. arrived on time and we were first there and pretty much through our whole dinner. the service was good and it’s a nice place. my only negative would be on the prices. it was about $40 per person, and that was only because my wife ordered simple chicken strips off the kids menu. we had the special which was deep fried cod and fries at $34 each and my son had ribs at lime $36.
note that we knew it was pricey going in but wanted to try it out as we do occasionally. it was good overall but pricing doesn’t lineup with the menu items we selected. give it a try and see what you think

Tried this restaurant due to the close vicinity to our rental cabin and it did not disappoint. I had the 24oz Montana “Wagyu” ribeye. I have dined at more restaurants than I care to disclose, and I’m surprised to write this was the best steak I have ever had; better than any I’ve had in my home Alberta. My dining guest loved the braised beef short rib also.
Our soup appetizers were also great; service was great; drinks were great. I came to Montana for a relaxing weekend , but I did not expect a dining experience so memorable and worthy of another state visit alone.
Go to this restaurant. I know I will be back as soon as I can visit Montana again.

My current favorites are risotto and halibut. Excellent choice of steaks, appetizers and salads, too. Portions are just right. Good wine list. Staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. The owner is there and works hard to keep everything just so.
Before Beargrass, we went to Kalispell, Whitefish or Big Fork for premium dining. Not necessary now. We’re grateful to have an up-scale restaurant in our small community.
