Our first time here, there were about 4 people in front of us and two more behind us at about 6:15pm in a Thursday. We ordered to go. We ordered the 4 meats: 4 ribs, Tri-tip, and chicken (they ran out of pulled pork), came with 2 pieces of corn bread, 2 sides: Mac and cheese and potato salad, 2 sides of BBQ sauce (regular and spicy), and a half rack of ribs. IT WAS ALL SOOOOO DELICIOUS!!!!!! We highly recommend! The three types of meats were tender, fall off the bone, juicy! The BBQ sauce was very very good! The spicy one was not spicy but had a great flavor! The corn bread was smooth and good flavor. The Mac and cheese was super duper good and cheesy! Definitely tasted homemade with lots of love! And potato salad was really good as well and had a good mixture of crunchy from pickles and smooth from potatoes. The sides look like small portions but it was perfect for 2 people. We got our food pretty fast and the server showed us our food and made sure we had everything we ordered. We will definitely be going back and continuing to recommend it! Great prices as well! For all this food we spent $64: the 4 meats $38 and the half rack of ribs was $20.

If you went to their former location you will appreciate this new spot. Conveniently located in Folsom Blvd between Watt and Bradshaw, the new place looks fresh and inviting. I ordered a 3-Way (Ribs, Tri-Tip, and Links) with Collards and Mac and Cheese.

This little gem in Rancho served up some seriously delicious BBQ—ribs, chicken, yams, and gumbo greens. The ribs were incredibly juicy and tender, literally falling off the bone, while the chicken was perfectly smoky and still moist. The gumbo greens were not your typical collard greens; they were loaded with chicken, sausage, and shrimp—like a true gumbo made with greens. Super flavorful and comforting.
The cornbread was freshly baked, warm, and not overly sweet, which I loved. The mac and cheese was a bit on the bland side, and the hot links weren’t spicy at all, so definitely ask for the spicy BBQ sauce if you like heat.
Overall, the pricing was very reasonable, the food was solid, and the staff was incredibly sweet and friendly. Totally worth stopping by if you’re craving a good, hearty BBQ plate.

My second time here because the first time was about a 6/10 and I really wanted some barbecue so decided to give it another shot. . But…. Today received 2 plates with some burnt cornbread, my macaroni and cheese noodles were too mushy, no seasoning on the meat so you definitely need the barbecue sauce. Greens were seasoned well 5/10 The only good thing I can say is the meat was really tender.

Service was great but lookin for great BBQ was definitely misleading after reading the reviews! Here’s a honest review with photos. The BBQ is horrible! Its old reheated meat thats been sitting for a while the best dishes are the sides mac and cheese and yams but you dont go to a BBQ restaurant for side you go for BBQ meat and I feel sick after eating this plate in which I threw the rest away. Here’s the rest of it and im telling you it disgusting!

This place is on Folsom Blvd. Anyway, the food was delicious and I love supporting small family oriented businesses. I got the rib dinner which came with 4 ribs 2 sides and cornbread. They sell kool-aid and desserts. Peach cobbler, German chocolate cake and banana pudding just to name a few. Definitely stop in if you’ve read this far, you’re too invested now. So much good flavor.

This is my new favorite BBQ place. NO CAP!!! Best baked beans I’ve had my whole life. Everything was on point. Mac cheese was good. Ribs and chicken were seasoned really good. Hot link was fire. Top it off with the spicy bbq sauce. Had me in a food coma for real. Can’t forget about the corn bread. It was very tasty. Definitely will be back.
