My three friends and I have been going here for years (previously Otter Creek). We always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Tonight however was a huge disappointment. My friend who ordered the baked haddock had no complaints, but my other two friends who had the perch were very disappointed. I ordered the loaded beef sandwich. It used to be amazing when it was Otter Creek. Now it was completely disgusting. The beef was complete mush and it was a soggy mess….all of us said it looked and smelled awful. It wasn’t like the loaded beef sandwich I used to get there…in fact I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. I only ate the onion rings which were cold and greasy. I paid $10 for cold greasy onion rings and a coke. Now we know why the place was so empty on a Friday night. We will not be going back. If you read this, don’t waste your money….go to Charlie’s up the road or Damn Yankees. It’s probably only a matter of time before this place goes out of business. Such a shame.

Horrible food. Went there for fish and it was horrible. My husband got bone in wings, they gave him boneless. My mom ordered a well done burger and they gave it to her very undercooked. Took it back and they said they put it back on the grill even after she took a bite, but she could tell they put it in the microwave to finish cooking it. Paid over 100$ for food I threw away.

Not sure why this place is rated so poorly. We eat here quite frequently (and have been for nearly a year as of late September 2024), and it’s one of the best restaurants outside the Fox Cities.
I can recommend the pepperjack cheese curds (some of the best I’ve had), as well as the walleye for the Friday Fish Fry. The reuben is pretty good, too.
My wife swears by their potato salad, although I prefer mine more mustardy.
But yeah, no complaints, really. Good stuff.

We had really good luck there when it was OtterCreek but not so much as Beartown. They had pork chops on special but didn’t offer mashed potatoes with it. I don’t really want french fries with pork chops or chicken. The waitress told me they don’t make mashed potatoes there. So our friends ordered chicken No mashed potatoes. Weird! I ordered the Club sandwich it wasn’t very good, the ham, turkey and cheese were sliced way to thick it was just a big mouthful of meat. My wife ordered the Alfredo pizza but it was so salty she couldn’t eat much of it. Not sure we will be back.

Bartenders were awesome . Really good pizza. Not sure what the other reviewer had a problem with. I loved the club sandwich. It was full of meat. Th he couple next to us had the seafood combo. It was huge and they loved it. Can’t wait to come back

We ordered an 8 pc. bucket of broasted chicken to-go last night. Seriously the best broasted chicken we have eaten. It was hot, fresh, and crispy when we arrived home. Not too salty. Just perfect!

Carried out fried haddock with potato salad, both were excellent and huge portions. Will definitely go back.
