Have never had bad food or poor service. Small town “diner” feel to it. We get the breakfast buffet most frequently. Competitively priced.
The decor and layout is the reason for the reduction in stars. I have no clue what this building use to be, but it doesn’t appear to be a restaurant, very mixed matched…could use some modern updates but, in the end, your there to ear right? The decor doesn’t stop me from coming back.

No frills diner type restaurant. Hand pressed burgers were phenomenal. They serve lots of different foods here, including reindeer sausage. Not crazy about the fried mozzarella sticks, but the fried mushrooms were great! Server was very nice, food came out relatively quickly.

Wow! It was shocking how bad this place was. The new ownership has ruined Bear Mountain Grill. The buffet was the most disgusting buffet I have seen. The food was sparse and had been sitting for a long time. There were more empty tables than the were tables with people sitting at them. Anyone who knows Bear Mountain Grill the way it used to be knows what I am talking about. There WAS always a wait on a Saturday morning.

I come here at least once every two weeks, every time I went, I enjoyed the food but service has not been satisfying. Every time I go, I feel discriminated and under-treated because I am not white. My husband is white and servers always try to talk to him even though I am talking to them. Out of 7 times we have been there, not even a single time were we greeted at the door. But they sure readily greet all white groups.
We are not gonna go here anymore as we found ways to make the same food with better quality ingredients.
Oh by the way, I’m a service member too. So it feels great to know that this restaurant discriminates military based on skin color. 🙂

2 stars because I didn’t actually eat the food, but I saved myself some time. We had gone here frequently before the change of ownership and it is completely different. The buffet they had displayed looked gross, not cycled and dry. I may be biased because I am comparing it to what the old restaurant was like but I was not impressed with what I was seeing at all. It has the most basic unappealing menu I have seen in awhile. RIP.

Eggs and sausage links were merely ok but like the person’s review from yesterday stated, the food is just left to sit out and not rotated for freshness, which is crucial for a buffet.
I hadn’t eaten here since October 2018; the horribly greasy food, lack of buffet options, and aforementioned lack of quality control ensures I won’t be back.

ZERO STARS! Google won’t let me give this place zero stars. Worst restaurant experience ever! Used to love this place. New ownership ruined it menu is lacking service doesn’t exist. Ordered the pita pizza with no meet and bacon on the side it came out with more meet than a Pizza Hut meet lovers the menu doesn’t list any other ingredients other than eggs, cheese, and your choice of either beacon or sausage. Sent it back to have it remade the then came back and said they run out of pita bread….they still charged us for the bacon they brought out due to their mistake. I didn’t have a problem paying for the gross, burnt, stale coffee we ordered that we barely touched. Do not waste your time or money at this place.

The food is still good and have worth the money. Portions are generous and I never leave hungry. The remodel is nice but I guess I expected more updating.

Today not so good, although the food was good, service was a bit slow. Food items were brought out msg stuff, virtually no check back’s, syrup for one guy was given about ten minutes after food was served. Small things but they added up.
