I’ve been here about 4 times now and its always good. Last time I went I had the chicken 1/4 and it was very tasty. I paired that potato salad, green beans and deviled eggs. All of it was amazing! In the past I’ve had the shredded pork and beef ribs. The pork was moist and tasty, the beef ribs were the best I’ve ever had, tender and juicy.

Our first visit had been amazing. Wonderful service, awesome food! Left full as can be. We had ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, mac & cheese as well as deviled eggs. Even split the banana pudding and Boston cream cake between the two of us. Nothing disappointed! Desserts are homemade as it seemed each dish was. We will come again and again for sure.

We took a quick drive up to the area. This restaurant was recommended. Loved the look of the dining area! It was decorated with re-purposed metals and wood from old barns. Very clean. The food was great. I even got Deviled Eggs. Not many places have those. The BBQ was cooked on site. The BBQ and bun were provided separately as to not get the bun soggy. Will definitely go back.

Great atmosphere and AMAZING food! The pork ribs just melted off the bone. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The sides were perfectly homemade and delicious. And the staff was kind and friendly. I’m so glad to have a place like this in Chase City!!

I had heard great things about the Bear Claw Grill and thought I would give it a try today with my family. We ordered pork ribs with sides Mac & cheese and potato salad and the white cake for dessert. Ribs were falling off the bone and flavored perfectly. Also ordered the pork rib sandwich. I would highly recommend if you want really good flavored Barbeque to give it a try. The Chef definitely knows what he is doing!!

This is truly a hidden treasure. We tried Bearclaw Grill out for the first time today. It’s AMAZING! Awesome dining area. Lots of room and very pleasant staff. Easy ordering and food was served quickly. BBQ was outstanding! Sauces, silverware area well stocked. Such a fun and delicious dining experience. We’ll be bask soon!

We needed food for family after a graveside service. Since we had previously tried the BBQ we went here. They were so helpful with the order and time that we needed to pick it up. Again the BBQ was excellent, along with the Potato Salad, Coleslaw and of course BBQ beans. Thank you for making the day a bit easier.

Rode up from Raleigh on motorcycle. No one there so immediate service. Its hard you explain, but the food comes in plastic containers. Lunch baggies and prewrapped plastic ware. No brisket, pork and chicken. I had the 1/4 chicken that seemed a little under done.
To be fair they just opened so much of this may get worked out as they move past start up and into steady state.
The place is big and comfy with lounge chairs while you wait. The front porch was big with nice tables and chairs and umbrellas.
I look forward to another review after a few months

Food was not good. BBQ was OK. Slaw had no dressing, Mac and cheese had to cut with fork. Food was Luke warm. Brought everything out on tray, bun was in a baggie and they did not give me a plate. Will not eat there again.
