Bearclaw Grill is a new restaurant coming near to you serving nothing but the best in local, fresh food, all cooked on the grill over an open flame. Cooking on the grill adds awesome flavor and benefits to ensure you get the best food. We have all sorts of food options from pork or beef barbecue to delicious flamed vegetarian dishes. There’s something for all ages on the menu from chicken to steak to so much more, all cooked according to yours and our preference, cooked over open flame on the grill at Bearclaw Grill. We are opening here in Chase City Virginia and would love to serve you some great, grilled food for you to eat inside or outside of our restaurant location, or for you to take to-go to eat our freshly grilled food elsewhere.

I’ve been here about 4 times now and its always good. Last time I went I had the chicken 1/4 and it was very tasty. I paired that potato salad, green beans and deviled eggs. All of it was amazing! In the past I’ve had the shredded pork and beef ribs. The pork was moist and tasty, the beef ribs were the best I’ve ever had, tender and juicy.

Our first visit had been amazing. Wonderful service, awesome food! Left full as can be. We had ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, mac & cheese as well as deviled eggs. Even split the banana pudding and Boston cream cake between the two of us. Nothing disappointed! Desserts are homemade as it seemed each dish was. We will come again and again for sure.

We took a quick drive up to the area. This restaurant was recommended. Loved the look of the dining area! It was decorated with re-purposed metals and wood from old barns. Very clean. The food was great. I even got Deviled Eggs. Not many places have those. The BBQ was cooked on site. The BBQ and bun were provided separately as to not get the bun soggy. Will definitely go back.

BEWARE! We have been to Bear Claw twice now via the drive thru. The ribs we ordered were not smoked at all. They had zero smoke or seasoning. The sausage on the sausage and onion sandwich was stone cold. We received 2 small pieces of onion and one small piece of pepper. So disappointing. They advertise that everything is grilled or smoked and sadly this has not been our experience here. The smoker sits idle every time we drive by. We also ordered a baked potato that was soaking wet. The potato was drenched and unedible. Such a shame because Chase City needs a good restaurant. This is not it. We will never eat here again.

I had heard great things about the Bear Claw Grill and thought I would give it a try today with my family. We ordered pork ribs with sides Mac & cheese and potato salad and the white cake for dessert. Ribs were falling off the bone and flavored perfectly. Also ordered the pork rib sandwich. I would highly recommend if you want really good flavored Barbeque to give it a try. The Chef definitely knows what he is doing!!

This is truly a hidden treasure. We tried Bearclaw Grill out for the first time today. It’s AMAZING! Awesome dining area. Lots of room and very pleasant staff. Easy ordering and food was served quickly. BBQ was outstanding! Sauces, silverware area well stocked. Such a fun and delicious dining experience. We’ll be bask soon!

Great atmosphere and AMAZING food! The pork ribs just melted off the bone. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The sides were perfectly homemade and delicious. And the staff was kind and friendly. I’m so glad to have a place like this in Chase City!!

Rode up from Raleigh on motorcycle. No one there so immediate service. Its hard you explain, but the food comes in plastic containers. Lunch baggies and prewrapped plastic ware. No brisket, pork and chicken. I had the 1/4 chicken that seemed a little under done.
