My standard order is a *kids temp* vanilla latte. In the last year or so, I find that 90% of my drinks have no flavor, and I don’t realize until later because it’s not, in fact, kids temperature and I cannot drink it until it cools down.
I do not have this issue at any other Beans location in the area. I also frequent the ones near Fort Union and Sugarhouse.
Today, I knewmy drink was too hot but wanted to check the flavor before pulling away. As expected, I burnt my tongue and there was no flavor. I walked inside and the barista who made it mentioned this is a common problem because of “new syrups” and “sugar dissolving.”
Idk if this location is cutting corners with poor quality products, but to consistently pay $1.25 extra for a large latte with no taste is not only insanity, but also kind of feels like being repeatedly stolen from. Beans is not holding up their side of the transaction I’m paying for.
I will not be buying from this location in the future.
I can only imagine how unsanitary their coffee equipment must be. It seems like most customers are drive-through only, as I noticed three employees casually chatting behind the counter. Given how much cleaning and sanitizing clearly needed to be done, their indifference was disheartening. At one point, one of them attempted to clean the coffee station, but the rag she used was so dirty that it made me gag. I had to leave.
The breakfast sandwich has a fake egg in the shape of a circle, the ingredients tasted cheap. Again, I only took two bites and threw it away.
The quality is not there.
Saying that, the customer service was very kind and helpful. Too bad their food and drink was not up to the same standards.
Other issues are the app doesn’t have good descriptions of beverages and drinks are costly for the sizes. I was excited to try a new coffee place but it wasn’t good.
Got the red heart which would be the special and honestly it was not that good at all
Pretty disappointing.
