When you think of a small town bar, this is what should come to mind. We hit this place up every year after coming off the river float! bartenders are attentive, drinks are good, and atmosphere is exactly what you want out of a small town bar. Definitely worth the stop if your in town!

Blasting music so loud into the quiet little town that by 2 am we still can’t sleep two blocks over from how crazy loud this bar blasts music. Zero consideration for the town, its residents, or veterans who might want to sleep at night instead of get drunk at this place.

Very cool place. We went for a few drinks and ended up staying all evening. People were super friendly and the drinks were good and very affordable. Only downside was that they didn’t serve food, but there are a few places only a minute walk away and the bartender encouraged us to bring food into the bar. He was very helpful with advice and even got us a pizza when the restaurant next door stopped taking orders.

5 Stars! Here’s why. I walked in with two friends. I see this big guy behind the bar and I don’t know what to expect. Nick was as nice and welcoming as any bartender anywhere. He told us the history of the bar. He served us quickly and friendly. I told him that if we didn’t have dinner plans, I would stay there all day. I saw a review commenting on the small restroom. Dude, it was CLEAN! What else really matters? We were in town for the Mohican marathon (our wives participated, not us). It doesn’t sound like that’s on our schedule next year, but we all would go back to Loudounville and Beanos for sure. Thank you for the hospitality, Nick!

No Children. [UPDATE 2025] I gave this bar five stars years ago, but if any place deserves an updated review, it is this extremely updated bar. The new owners are lovely people and they have done a wonderful job cleaning up the bar. I think they might even have taken down the no children sign… so my initial review makes no sense… Not to mention on VERY rare occasions, early in the day, a child is not only tolerated but offered a delicious Shirley Temple.

Had a great time with friends at Beanos last night. Nick is an awesome manager/bartender. His smoked old fashioned was so good, but his personality was tops. If I lived in Loudonville, Beanos would be my go to stop for fun and relaxation!!
