I was in Maryland for the 1st time on Sunday, and a park ranger at Fort McHenry told me to get an egg custard snowball with marshmallow. Found Beanies and gave it a shot and it tasted great. Would never have ordered it had not been for the recommendation, so glad I tried it. Looks like a lot of great options here to try. If I’m ever in Baltimore again I’ll have to come back.

I love to go here on a regular basis (3 times this week alone), but today I had a new experience and wanted to share. The atmosphere is always a breath of fresh air. The staff is never less the amazingly pleasant. My only complaint is the false advertising, or rather lack of warning I received when I ordered… the apple harvest funnel cake. It’s right on the board, plain and simple… very unassuming. I thought, well, it’s just funnel cake….I’ll order a kiddie butter pecan also…. well, please see the attached photo for the reason I post this message…all will be understood. It is recommended to eat it there and don’t take it to go, but either way, it’s absolutely fantastic.

This place is outstanding! The atmosphere is great. It’s like walking back in time. The people that work there are great. The other day I went in for my normal chocolate milkshake and I was wearing Orioles Clothing. I had a great conversation about the orioles with who I believed was the owner. Highly recommend this place!

She doesn’t have them all year, but the funnel cakes are delicious. There’s Apple Harvest flavor, with ice cream. But my favorite is the Strawberry with vanilla ice cream. They also now have soft serve ice cream. And I like quite a few of the other things they have to eat. Walkin Tacos, Hot dogs, nachos, and more. The staff is friendly, plus I love the music that’s always playing. I’m not sure if the it’s the Wurlitzer jukebox, or another way. But it’s always my kind of music. We love Beanies!

Quaint neighborhood ice cream shop. I love that’s independently owned and not another chain. The selection of ice cream flavors was outstanding! The portions were generous and tasted delicious! A wonderful way to spend a family outing on a hot summer evening.

Love Beanies! Planning on (hopefully, fingers crossed) going today. Favorite flavor is probably any coffee ones. Also, the older look of the ice cream shop itself is so awesome. And the candy there isn’t too expensive so I try to get some when I can. Only negative experience was when my mom got herself a strawberry milkshake but it tasted like plain milk. However, it doesn’t change my rating for it, as it did not affect me. Anyways, great place, fun experience!

My family and I enjoy going to Beanie’s for ice cream. We are always greeted when we walk in. The ladies always provide great customer service. Beanie’s has a great variety of ice cream flavors to choose from. You are guaranteed to like something.
Unfortunately, I have to knock off at least one star. My issue is they never fill the “big daddy” all the way up to the top. Here I am spending $8.50 for some cream to be filled 3/4 of the way up. That’s unacceptable. You have to take into consideration that I can go to the store and buy 2 half gallons but I decide to support a local small business. They also do the same thing with the sundae’s, they never fill the cup up.

Ice cream is good but prices are high and the girls that were in there today weren’t all that talkative. They seemed a bit on the stuck up side. We paid almost $18 for these.

Pulled up around 8:50 to check the door to see what time they closed and before we could even get out and check the sign we had 4 girls and one boy staring at us through the glass with the most DISGUSTED faces, i checked online to see they close at 9. Understandable..i worked with the public so we wouldnt have gone in seeing as how close to closing it was but them looking at us like that…..was super off putting. If you are gonna have people working there that look out the window at others and give them nasty looks cause its late, id recommend closing earlier. Won’t be going back there……
