Delicious comfort vegan food. We got the nacho chili ranch fries, the fried tofu finger bean bowl and the good burger. Food is delicious (especially those tofu fingers) and they make all of their sauces in house. Staff is very friendly!!

What a gem! We’re new to the neighborhood and I am always on the hunt for good vegan food. My husband and I shared the fried pickles, I had the rodeo burger with Cole slaw, & he had the Diablo burger with kale. We left HAPPILY full. The staff were wonderful, cheery, and welcoming. I’m SO happy I found this place! It’s a bit deceptive from the outside, but inside the vibe is casual, quirky, and fun! Charlie is the gracious and hospitable owner who makes you feel right at home. I tried to eat as many things as possible since I was only able to visit once. I tried the fried dill pickles, Buffalo tofu fingers, a cup of chili (his mom’s recipe), and collard greens. Everything was DELICIOUS!! GO AND EAT HERE!!

Tasked with deciding on a place for brunch, I suggested Bean. I’d been curious for years and finally going has been a great bingo marker.
There is plenty of parking and it’s free.
You place your order at the counter and they bring it to your seat. Water and coffee is self-serve, but I ordered an Izze and they handed it to me after payment.
The food was delicious. I still think about the carrot bacon that came with my Brunch Bowl. It was so good I ordered another to-go (it went to my friend, but still good)!
The owner is super nice too! I definitely will come back.

This place is a cozy place on Independence Blvd. The owner was very nice. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. Next time I’m ordering the kale as a side. I got to keep it healthy. Loved the burger. You couldn’t tell it was vegan except for the bacon. The cheese and patty super delicious. I liked the cozy and sort of corky interior.

Amazing food with lots of vegan choices. The Tofu fingers are a must try! They have just the perfect amount of crispness without being over cooked, so delicious! Brats, chili and greens are all yummy as well. Can’t believe this has been so close to me all this time and I didn’t know. Now I’m hooked!!

I was visiting from out of town, and it was near the area where I was. The food was excellent. It gave me a Southern homemade feel (the tofu finger bowl), with a small cornbread. The food came out quickly, and was a great portion. I liked that the space was funky. The artwork posters were cool, and seeing a vegan market wall with so many good vegan snacks, of some brands that are hard to find locally was a great treat. 5/5! Will be back when in town again!

Had an appointment in NC today so we got to try Bean Vegan Cuisine in Charlotte. Probably top 5 for us in terms of vegan places. Really family friendly atmosphere, drawings kids have done on the wall, a colorful pig statue (that our son got to pet). There’s a really nice sign about no outside food or drink to keep it cruelty-free. But the most IMPORTANT part of this experience was the VEGAN CHEESECAKE. I haven’t had cheesecake in nearly two years. This one was pumpkin pie flavored and it was soooooo good.

I ordered the fried tofu finger salad…
initially I wasn’t overly impressed because it appeared to be a typically salad.
HOWEVER, after biting into the fried tofu finger I was elated! I could NOT believe that what appeared to be a rectangular chicken finger was actually TOFU! It was warm, crispy, and had a great texture that resembled chicken breast!
The buffalo sauce was flavorful but not spicy and I’m glad I chose that sauce.
The VEGAN AGAVE MUSTARD is their version of a honey mustard and it does not disappoint!
I’ve barely put a dent in my salad but I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
