Super cute new coffee shop! Lots of varieties of popping boba (not tapioca to my knowledge) and a great selection of teas. The strawberry mint mojito boba tea that I’m sipping on is more of a mocktail than a casual tea. The people are very nice and they just started here so please be respectful! The style is eclectic maximalism and there are lots of comfy seats in 3 different rooms.

Just happened to walk by and found this beautiful spot! Love the esthetic! And the drinks are soooo good. Loved the Chia-der and Cider Float for the fall season!!

A little understaffed when it gets busy but the drinks are amazing! Some nasty ladies were sitting next to me and I guess they were having a bad day because they lost their minds on the poor counter girl because they said she made their drinks wrong (she didn’t) but then when they tried to order a much more expensive drink instead, she charged them for the difference instead of the full drink which was already very nice of her and then they threw a whole fit and other customers had to ask them to stop because they were being so rude. They said they posted a bad review and I wanted to refute their account because I’m sure it was incorrect. The staff here are lovely and the drinks are very good, only downside is some random customers occasionally. I come here all the time and have never had a bad experience. The London fogs are very good.

Definitely a lot that needs to be worked on here. I feel like this place would be far more popular if they were better at promoting it. Me and everyone I know had no idea there was a Boba place in Rochester until we overheard someone talk about it and I’m downtown almost every day. The tapioca here is weirdly cooked and not made correctly but not terrible. Some of their drink combinations are very good! I have a feeling this would be a hotspot if they could promo a little better

Nice ambience but not a fan of the inconsistent beverages. Barista can’t make a drink to save her life, can’t multitask/manage a line, and has overcharged me on a couple occasions. Some drinks are decent at best but most of the time they’re watery and bland. I had the most disappointing chai latte ever here and also noticed that their boba is far from authentic; weak flavors and very watery consistency. Atmosphere is cute but baristas need way more training, although the young man was very nice. Place has good ideas but they’re executed poorly.

My wife and I really enjoyed Bean Me Up. I got a hot latte, which was made well. Good espresso and foam. My wife got the Vietnamese iced coffee, which she enjoyed. We each had an açaí bowl, which was delicious and we both recommend.

The café is spacious and has plenty of room to spread out and enjoy privacy if you bring a book, a laptop, etc. On the other hand, the game room is a great idea, and we intend on coming back with friends to play some games. Another lovely touch was the displays of paintings by local artists.

Bean Me Up, if you’re reading this, the only thing we would like to see is ceramics being used for anyone eating in. Not only does it add to the comfort and relaxation of eating in (making you feel at home), it would help reduce landfill waste and play a small yet significant part to keep the environment clean and safe.

Overall, a nice experience.

I’ve ordered Boba from here twice. The tea was completely tasteless, just water and milk, and half the cup was cold grainy Boba. I’m sure they make great coffee and food! And the service was fantastic. Sadly, though, rochester still doesn’t have any Boba tea.

I want to like this place. It’s cute inside and I don’t know anywhere else in Rochester to get Boba, but the inconsistencies are getting to be too much. I’ve only seen 2 employees (and never at the same time) a woman with brown hair and a guy with black hair. He is fantastic, great customer service and the drink always tastes right when he makes it. You never know what you’ll get for a drink with her. Half the time the boba is rock solid when she makes it. You do always know you’ll get no effort with her though. She will only take one order at a time and waits until she’s handed it to the customer before even acknowledging anyone else in line. And I’m sorry but she moves way too slow. When there’s a line of people you won’t even look at the least you can do is hustle a little. It’s quickly becoming not worth the price.
