Eco-friendly, neighborhood hangout with local art & fair trade coffee, plus sandwiches & smoothies.

Cute place with good – though limited – offerings. The owner is extremely rude to his staff, very insulting and humiliating, and he also is consistently rude to customers. He had a woman working hard and doing a great job and berated her in front of a full lobby. Everyone’s faces registered shock at his rudeness. I won’t be interested in going back. Unthinkable bad manners. Go somewhere else. The owner has anger management issues and no respect for customers or staff. I hope his employee finds a job where her excellent service and work are appreciated.

This place has genuinely good coffee from someone who likes more traditional styles like cappuccinos (no not 12oz like you cavemen like haha). I understand these other reviews about the owner and his personality but that’s just how the guy is. He’s not trying to be rude. I would definitely come back. This is actually my new favorite coffee spot. They also have really good art for sale and all of the walls.

It’s a small coffee house, but the coffee and muffins are excellent! The espresso is A+ and the drip coffee is fantastic. Organic half-and-half. . They tell me it’s local beans and the people are the nicest…. nice vibe to go along with great coffee!

Nice coffee house vibe, great coffee, friendly staff and food available. Ours was a morning stop for coffee and chai, so can’t really comment on the food other than a muffin, which was okay. Really liked the vibe/atmosphere of the place. Great option for coffee or tea when visiting Siesta Key Village

Bean Coffeehouse is a hidden gem that serves up some of the best local brews in town, all while fostering a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Supporting this small business not only helps the community thrive but also treats your taste buds to delicious, handcrafted coffees that are worth every sip!

The Bean has a lot of potential — it’s a cute spot with a nice atmosphere — but the customer service is consistently terrible. Every visit feels like you’re inconveniencing them by spending money there. We’ve given it multiple chances over the years, hoping for improvement, but the drinks are always off and the service even worse.
If you’re in the Village, you’ll have a much better experience grabbing a coffee at Mojo Rising or even the Mini Donut Shop. Unfortunately, The Bean would be last on our list for coffee stops in the area.

I live here six months out of the year. The owners are extremely rude to their customers. I have been here many times but this last time was definitely my last. Will not give them my money anymore. If I could give ZERO stars I would! Why own a business and treat people terribly? Awful!

I was always hesitant to try this place due to the bad reviews, but I’m here to tell you that people are sensitive and weak. There is nothing wrong with this place other than amazing coffee and good vibes. The woman at the counter was soft-spoken and sweet and made my experience incredible. Organic milk say less that is my vibe and everyone is super chill in there. I think everyone is talking about the one guy in the back however some people are just grumpy and that is their life. You never know what someone’s going through. He may be under a lot of stress. I think that it is a great place and Great coffee Great price and perfect for right before a walk on the beach.

Stopped in at Bean Coffeehouse in Sarasota and really enjoyed it. The coffee was smooth and full of flavor, probably one of the better cups I’ve had in a while. The vibe inside is super chill and cozy, perfect for hanging out or getting some work done. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to, which always makes a big difference. We grabbed a couple pastries too, and they were fresh and tasty. Just a solid local spot with great coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Super chill little place with a very extensive menu. House made syrups and a variety of fresh blended frozen drinks round out the beverage menu. They had a limited but unique selection of breakfast/lunch items as well. Delicious coffee/espresso, fast yet laid back service, and a nice relaxed atmosphere.
**Location of one of the only ATMs in Siesta Key is just outside**
