Stopped off a suggestion. Happy hour menu offered more than enough choices and can be shared. The steamed shrimp were delicious. We tried the Beamie’s cocktail – very sweet but delicious. The sweet tea is sweet tea. Had the baskets – grilled and friend flounder, popcorn shrimp, rice, hush puppy’s snd coke slaw ( not the best)- it needed more flavor.

I had an excellent experience at Beamie’s in Augusta! I started with oysters on the half shell—fresh, briny, and perfectly chilled. From there, I tried a flight of their three soups, each one unique and full of flavor. The oyster Po’ Boy with fries was a real highlight—crispy, well-seasoned, and very generous on the oysters. To wash it all down, I enjoyed a perfectly icy cold No Jacket Required, a great local beer that paired beautifully with the meal.
A big shout-out to Chase for his friendly and attentive service—he really made me feel welcome. And compliments to Ethan in the kitchen for turning out such consistently great food. Between the quality of the meal and the hospitality, Beamie’s is definitely a place I’d recommend and will be coming back to.

Very tasty! I had the popcorn shrimp basket. Very good. Huge serving, enough for two meals personally. Being a downtown small business owner, I love supporting my fellow businesses in the downtown Augusta area. Highly recommend.

Don’t do. Just don’t. The frozen fries were the best item on the table. The tea was okay. But the food was overcooked or over priced. But had no flavor what so ever and at least 2 of my 6 Oysters Rockefeller had no oysters. Total waste of time and money.

This place is off the chain, stop in here if you are passing by. The oysters Rockefeller was unbelievable. We got a shrimp basket and cod basket, so fresh and so good.

Waitress only came once. My Philly sub was missing onions when I said light. My daughter didn’t get her other side order with her meal. We sat towards the outside part and I had to go inside to get the waitress and let her know of the missing items and refills. Coleslaw had no flavor whatsoever and it was dry. Beans had no taste neither.

The restaurant has good southern vibe and serves tasty southern seafood. Their gumbo was awesome! Our server Caitlyn tried her best in explaining the dishes. We tried grits for the first time and loved it. Their popcorn shrimp starter was liked by every one in the family. The restaurant was not loud even though being full. The food was served within 10-15 minutes of ordering. The only scope of improvement would be inclusion of some desert items in the menu.
