This ice cream stand has stood the test of time. I’ll gladly wait in line and pay for my cones, sundaes, and especially the resee’s peanut butter cup sundae — it’s out of this world. I get it every time. It makes resees run in your blood, so good. The staff is high school girls who for the most part are wonderful. Best ice cream stand around! Nice job Beals.

The ice creams good but service is not 2 workers and ones closing 30 minutes early and instead helping customers when the other worker is making 10 ice creams she’s wiping down equipment and restocking. Should be more attentive to the customer

The best homemade ice cream I have ever had. Every time we visit, they offer new flavors and a vast array of choices. The girls behind the counter are fantastic, friendly, and efficient. Service is consistently excellent . We are repeat customers throughout the season!

SO MANY DECISIONS! It was really hard to pick JUST ONE flavor. Loved the wide variety and the servings were huge! Picnic tables to sit at and plenty of parking! Yummy & definitely recommend!

This place is my go to, and will continue to be because the ice cream is always tasty and the service is good. My complaints are mainly with the crazy oversized portions, when I order 1 scoop… I expect, AND WANT 1 scoop… Not 3. However due to the oversized portions, it’s a great value! The line is so long because the bottle neck is the ordering/paying process, the other 3 staff members are putting the order together before I’ve finished telling the order… So they got it wrong, and 3 other customers in line also had mistakes in their orders, but no one is going to wait in that line again to get their order fixed! It’s really hard to read the flavor sign due to the super bright flood lights that cause glare all over the sign. Simple things that can be fixed, please fix them. See you next week

Cute old fashioned ice cream place with interesting flavors and great ice cream. Very fairly priced, too. $5-6 for 1-2 scoops. I didn’t try the spoons. Easily looked like the best place in town.

My God I love New England, here it is 47 degrees with a 22 mile an hour wind and people are standing in line wearing jackets to get ice cream in late April ! The maple walnut with the homemade waffle cone here makes the line worth it …Beal’s is a truly great place to get that summer treat even if it’s cold outside.

94° outside and stop for an ice cream. I asked for a small soft serve twist. I had to ask about the size because what I got would have been a large !!!

Very pleasant staff too!!

Awesome place to get freshmade ice cream and frozen yogurt in a wide variety of flavors. They make their own ice cream, (some of their) cones, ice cream cakes and pizza. They make sundaes, frappes, splits, and many other concoctions… and best of all they’re open until 9pm at the Gorham location.

Great selection of ice cream but the people at the counter need to listen better. Asked for the hard ice cream and got the soft serve. Didn’t say anything because they were really busy
