I was out on a listing appointment and stopped by afterwards. The food was delicious! I had chicken fried chicken plate lunch with corn, mashed potatoes and a roll. It was flavored just right. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area. The waitress was busy but very attentive. The owner stuck his head out and spoke to the customers a couple of times. In glass I stopped, I had read many good reviews! Plenty of parking. Clean restroom.

I stopped in Wed 9/10/25 at 1100 a.m. I was greeted nearly immediately. The menu & specials were explained. The tea was good. I enjoyed the playful between myself and my server. The food was good. I had a good dining experience. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because there was an elderly woman at the counter, my best guess is she’s lost her hearing. It was made 10x worse when a few of the staff began engaging her in conversation. It was incredibly LOUD.

Very family friendly atmosphere! Mrs. Louanne and staff were excellent and treated us like family. Very comfortable atmosphere and family friendly! Burgers and desserts were delicious and homemade. We will be coming back again!

Came at 5:00 for soup and salad bar and all out of soup so change in plans to order off menu.Ordered a swiss mushroom burger very dry and tasteless.One person that we were with ordered 5 piece shrimp and looked liked flat pancakes there were so thin.We have eaten there before and was good eceopt for last night.We wiil try again but don’t now when.

My stepfather took us to lunch before my mother’s funeral, there were 6 of us, and almost all of us ordered off the lunch specials on the napkin holders, the bill was still $140 and it took so long to get the food that my stepdad had to leave without eating to prepare for the funeral. My son was the only one who enjoyed his food, he had a pizza and a side of fries. The waitress was alone on duty and began to get busy. I come from a restaurant background so I can understand, but every time we asked for a drink refill or ketchup or anything she got such an attitude that it wasn’t worth telling her about the food. I got the open turkey, which was 4 prices of Texas toast, each with 1 slice of turkey lunch meat on them. It came with corn that was at least a few days old and cold mashed potatoes. One daughter got a bacon cheddar burger and despite being pink in the middle on a well-done burger, she did enjoy the outside cooked edges of it. My daughter’s friend ordered the turkey melt and was just as disappointed as I was when she received just a few slices of turkey lunchmeat and some overdone bacon. My other daughter ordered the hot pepper burger off the menu, but it was dipped in the Adobe sauce and she was unable to eat it. My stepdad ordered the sausage kielbasa sandwich, but as I said didn’t have time to take 1 bite. We put everything in to-go boxes and threw it away when we got back to the house.

The meal was wonderful. I had the 10 Oz. Strip steak, and my husband had the open faced beef sandwich. Everything was really good. We’ll be visiting there again soon.
