I didn’t get food but I put a high rating because the Beacon is such a great place to bring your camp chair, watch a local band and drink responsibly. If you’re a dancer, bring your favorite dance partner and kick up your heels! The staff is friendly and the music goes till about 10pm. Check the schedules before you come because it’s late summer and I’d hate to think you came out here on a night a band wasn’t playing. There’s ten or more local bands that rotate through the Beacon so there’s always something to look forward to. Come out, have a great time and I’ll see you there!

My review will be a bit biased because I won the shake a day pot last night but I’ll give you an honest review.
This place does not serve food but it is a GREAT local bar. They have games like pool, darts, and other things to occupy yourself and friends. It is a large building so you don’t feel crowded. I’m from out of town but the staff and other customers made myself and my service dog feel welcomed. I will definitely come back when stopping in town for the night in the future. Oh I almost forgot… drink prices are better than what I found down town or at the casinos near my hotel. I give this establishment two thumbs up

Had the absolute best time here! We were from Arizona and Jory made us feel like a regular. Excellent service, great prices and fun ambiance. Only place we will go to while in town. Highly recommend.

Couldn’t ask for a more welcoming bar in town. The beacon has become like a second home to me, not just because of the bar itself, but the staff and the regulars. Whether you’re a first timer or a frequent flyer you’ll always have a memorable time at The Beacon Icehouse. Great selection of booze, plenty of games, live concerts, entertaining “moments,” cash only, and weirdly good smelling bathrooms. Great place.
