Absolutely amazing diner on A1A with constant tableside service. Owner walks around with coffee and checking in with everyone. Dogs welcome on patio with heaters for cold beach days. The food I always go with the classic. 2 eggs scrambled with biscuit and hash browns and crispy bacon. and my husband got the western omelette with biscuit.

We love this restaurant for the friendly staff, cleanliness, speed of service, quality of food is amazing, and even their ability to have free flowing delicious coffee so your never quite on empty. The biscuits are unique and tasty that I couldn’t not get it. 😉 and the potato’s are simply unique and amazing. 5 stars easily to this diner. Definitely my favorite and best diner in Palm Coast, Florida

We love eating at the Beachside Diner and always bring people that visit us especially for Breakfast. To make it special we learned the following.

Of the breakfast items we have had, none of been less than good. I do think they serve the best pancakes, biscuits, waffles in the area have enjoyed their omelettes and power bowel and milk shakes. For lunch we have only tried the Reuben which is very good with all the right ingredients in the correct proportion and came out hot with a nice cheese pull. The chicken bowl was only good because the chicken was a little dry and did not have a citrus flavoring to it. The rest of the bowl items were very good.

We have always had great service, especially from Holly. When it is busy it will get loud in the open table seating area. If possible wait for a booth or eat outside in those cases. I talk about parking below.

Great food and atmosphere. Service was very good. Great place for a leisurely breakfast anytime of day. Only drawback was the place needs to a better job of house keeping. Tables and window ledges needed a little TLC. Overall a great experience.

This is a really cute breakfast/lunch spot! It’s spacious inside, with the option for outdoor seating. The décor is adorable, prices are affordable, and the service was great. Everything about this place was wonderful.
I’m giving it 4 stars because I enjoy bold flavors in my food and found it a little bland — I had to add salt, which wasn’t quite the same.
Other than that, the staff is very friendly, there’s plenty of parking, the prices are reasonable, and the place is clean. I would definitely try them again!

Absolutely the best breakfast we have ever eaten In St. Augustine. I have food allergies and sensitivities and they were so good about accommodations for me. Everyone was so nice and the food was to die for. Almost better than sex. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be coming back on our next trip to town.

I stopped in for breakfast after working an all night shift. This joint is located out next to the beach, which is personally my favorite place to stay while in town. It’s got a sunny morning diner feel. Food is way better than any chain. Full bar, family friendly, patio seating, & plenty of parking. The staff is great, friendly & attentive. Def recommend if you’re out in St Aug Beach. Heck, it’s even worth a trip out here from town.

Back in 2020 we heard so many great reviews, but when we showed up it was packed and we were hungry, so we ended up leaving. Fast forward to 2025, we finally made it inside, and it was worth every bit of the hype. The atmosphere, the staff, the food — all of it was great. This is definitely my new go-to spot whenever we’re in the area.

This is possibly the BEST diner I’ve ever been too. The place looked busy but we were sat immediately & service was prompt. Holly was an absolute delight & a wonderful server. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu & gave thoughtful suggestions. The food itself was incredible. It was almost hard to order at first because we saw the amazing plates coming out to other patrons. I had the corned beef hash breakfast & I’ve honestly never have homemade corned beef… it was the best beef in St.Augustine in my opinion. Also the coffee was superb! 5 stars all around, bring the family to the establishment, it’s worth the time & money spent!

Visiting a diner is always fun. This classic diner was very busy, so we knew it would be good. The hashbrows were cooked perfect and the homemade biscuits are amazing. We had the chicken fried chicken with the classic breakfast and wow, so tasty and cooked perfect. The broken egg and chicken biscuit was delicious. Definitely get your monies worth, we both had food to go home with. May be the best fried chicken I have had. Highly recommend.

This would be 5 stars BUT…

1. Shannon M our waitress scolded me within 1 minute of coming to our table.

2. Shannon M did speek to us at 87 MPH when the FLORIDA posted speed talking limit for seniors is 55 MPH. Shannon was running around at WARP SPEED so it was either too much coffee or they gave her too many tables today?

Back to #1 = So Shannon was machine gunning her set speech for us that she knows so well for when she greets diners.

But we knew in advance exactly what we wanted.

So as Shannon started in on the POT PIE SPECIAL I tried to save her the effort so I tried to stop her to tell her we knew what we wanted.

But Shannon wasn’t having any talk back from us measly customers.

I have been a waiter so I know the ropes.

So Shannon says, “I HAVE TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE SPECIAL…(that’s when I tried to save her the effort) she then in a nasty tone continued with “I DON’T COME TO YOUR PLACE OF WORK AND TELL YOU HOW TO DO YOUR JOB, DO I?”

Well my wife and I heard that and after Shannon left we immediately agreed = NO TIP!

Now in all fairness Shannon was an excellent waitress.

After her poor judgement in choice of words she took great care of us. But the rude treatment made this meal at Beachside diner a tainted one!

So we only left $3 on a $25 total because as I said Shannon’s service was excellent.

I would have left a $6 to $8 tip in admiration of how well she did her job. But a $0 tip would have been unfair.

We split the mushroom burger and it was good. The side ceasar was great as were the fries and pickle.

The tomato & lettuce that came on the burger were top quality fresh. And the bun was great for a burger.
