I was pleasantly surprised by Beachcombers! Good drinks, great view, and plenty of beachfront space to eat and drink. There was a vegan burger option with vegan cheese, which is always nice to have when traveling in seafood-dominated beach towns. Bartenders were also knowledgeable about what did and did not contain dairy. I wasn’t expecting such a cute bar behind a hotel to be honest, but I enjoyed my time here quite a bit 🙂

Best thing about this place is the view. Our waitress Leah seemed very rude from the start like she was upset at us just for sitting down which didn’t make for a great experience. The Lobster grilled cheese was the best thing. The fish tacos were not good. The frozen drinks were watered down but the other mixed drinks were decent. I probably wouldn’t eat here again and wouldn’t recommend eating here at all.

We loved Beachcombers! Our server Cody was amazing. He was attentive and had a great personality. Food came out hot and was delicious. Highly recommend the spring rolls as an appetizer. Vibes were great as the sun set on the water. Definitely call ahead or get on the waitlist. Minimal tables and a very popular spot.

Delish!! Highly recommend for good vibes and fantastic food. Loved everything we got including the outdoor seating. We absolutely loved hearing the beach while we ate and getting to walk down with an access ramp right after dinner. Not to mention for the price of everything we got we highly recommend!!

Not bad. View is nice if you can get a seat near the far end. Cool breeze is a plus. The food was hit and miss for us. Wife got the Chicken Club Flatbread and I had the Macadamia Nut Grilled Mahi. She really enjoyed her Flatbread, I, however was disappointed in the Mahi. The butter rum sauce was overly sweet and the fish itself was ok and for $25, I expected more than ok. Go for the view and drinks, the food could go either way.

I was a little nervous because this is a hotel restaurant… But they did a fantastic job. There’s a covered, open bar/dining area and additional tables right along the beach. The menu has a small but solid selection. I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s totally authentic Polynesian, but the food was a pretty good quality and prepared nicely as well. Not greasy/heavy chain restaurant stuff. Crab cakes were above par, and my son was happy that they didn’t get cute with the Mac and Cheese.

It’s an “eh” for me. Making early reservations so that we could have the option to sit on the deck was definitely the best decision. Having the ocean breeze while we dined was a great vibe. The food was just okay. We ordered two appetizers – peach habanero wings and the ahi poke nachos. We also split the shrimp tacos. Definitely tasted like hotel food if you know what I mean. For the price, it wasn’t really worth it. Drinks were okay as well – overpriced but I guess that’s what’s expected. The view was the best part. Go for the view and drinks. Because the restaurant is located inside the Ramada, the parking was a bit limited.

Sat at the bar for a couple of cocktails. It’s a public restaurant and you do not need to be staying at the hotel. Nice atmosphere it being outside with ocean views. It is a busy place in the high season so expect a bit of a wait for food and drink. Worth it though.

Very good drinks. The entire staff is very friendly. Classic Margarita and Tipsy Turtle both get a thumbs up.

My wife and I visited OBX for our honeymoon and this place was one we went to for drinks. We arrived at 7:15pm and they close a 9:00pm. We were able to have only 2 drinks each during this time due to a white older female staring at us and refused to serve us after waiting more than 20 mins between drinks. She stood at the bar the entire time while the bartender was backed up helping other people. Overall the place isn’t terrible, but she made it worse than it had to be.

The bartender Chris greeted us and made us feel welcomed. Very nice guy! He recommended the Ahi Poke Nachos and it was delicious!! My husband ordered the lobster and crab grilled cheese with fries as a side. I tried both and it was also delicious. I ordered the steak noodle bowl and the flank steak was cooked perfectly and it was tender. Very good! Definitely would recommend these items. Cant wait for our next visit in 2024.
