Reviews
From the moment we walked in, we were obsessed with the décor and vibe—immersive, fun, and effortlessly cool. The bartenders are true professionals, serving up incredible cocktails while also being genuinely engaging and welcoming. The drinks were outstanding, the food was delicious, and the energy of the place was just right.
We felt instantly at home, and if it hadn’t been our last night in New Orleans, we would have gone back every single evening. An absolute must-visit for anyone who loves great cocktails, great atmosphere, and places with real soul.
Once we were seated, Michele H took us on a journey. She was so gracious and genuine, providing us with excellence recommendations.
From the Pontchartrain Pearl Diver to the Espresso Bongo, our drinks were phenomenal. The food didn’t skip a beat, either. We ordered the lumpia and the pimento cheese rangoons, which were great accompanying bites to go with the beverages.
All in all, a wonderful place to escape to and I can’t wait to get back!
Bar staff was hilariously entertaining, delightfully chatty, the vibes are vibing.
The food is delicious and the drinks, oh the drinks, they are so masterfully crafted and high quality that we could have ordered a couple more if we didn’t have dinner reservations elsewhere.

Latitude 29 (offered as shots by the bar crew)
The offered a complimentary shot, but we were drinking tonight, so she very sweetly brought us stickers with the check, which clearly they usually give to kids, and it made us laugh.
The people around us seemed to super enjoy the shots and one table ordered more.
All in all great dinner hidden gem.
My dinner was the pork belly with egg and lo mein. The egg had a crunchy coating and was soft cooked so it created a nice sauce for the lo mein. A hint of lemon on the lo mein made a fresh combination for the egg sauce. The pork belly was nicely reduced and almost melts in your mouth. The dessert was multiple textures and flavors in a bread pudding shaped like a muffin. Come enjoy this place…..it’s almost hidden….so don’t miss it.
This is a must-visit for any fan of tiki/tropical drinks for not only the high quality, historically-faithful recipes, but also the extremely kind and thoughtful staff.
