Our top experience in Kona on this trip. This restaurant is located in an amazing setting for sunset and evenings and the service and food is impeccable. The main reason for our visit was the vegan menu and options and the food did not disappoint. Everything seemed made from fresh ingredients and entirely in house. Even the timing of how the plates came out seemed entirely planned out. The coconut sorbet was to die for. Hokulani was our server and her service was the best we’ve had, maybe ever. It was impressive how she seemed to remember every part of the menu in detail and also the wine menu with knowing the cities of origin from the top of her head! There was a fire dancer, live music, and hula dancer during the evening around sunset hour. All authentic feel too. None of the cheesy stuff… Really hope to be back again one day. Going to dinner here isn’t just a meal, it’s an entire experience.

We have enjoyed lunch here multiple times with our real estate colleagues, and we always come away thinking, “Why don’t we eat here more often?” It’s close to Kailua-Kona, prices are reasonable, and the ambience is amazing! All of the food that we’ve tried has been amazing, and my wife LOVES the non-alcoholic coconut lemonade. (I think it’s a non-menu item, so you have to ask for it by name!) We will definitely enjoy Beach Tree more in 2026.

I ordered Brick Oven pizza and what I received was a soggy, flat pizza. How is that even possible to do in a brick oven?See the pics for yourself. I understand that I am paying for the atmosphere and the service, which was very nice; but, really…a pizza that could have come from a microwave is shameful from such a high-end restaurant.

First of all, it is at the Four Seasons so you know you are already dining at a lovely restaurant. Second, no reservation is required. The restaurant is situated beach front over looking the ocean with a stunning view of the ocean. The food here was absolutely phenomenal! I had the best bolognese I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a bunch around the world. Thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste! The portion size was perfect but I could have ate the whole pot of this stuff. The noodles were so good! Thick and doughy which made the quality of the dish that much better. The sauce was crazy with every bite providing a meaty experience. I can’t say enough about how good it was!
The burrata was super tasty as well. The grilled peach added a flavor bomb to it that was perfectly paired alongside the tomato and pesto.
The meatballs, insane! Three deliciously seasoned and herbed balls of flavor mounted with cheese swimming in marinara sauce served with flavorful garlic bread. Come on! Highly recommend eating here.

Overall great dinner with a group. Amazing grounds and views of the ocean and sunset. Dinner took over 1 hour to show up however.
Arrived before the reservation time at 5:15. Was promptly sat. Ordered and received drinks within 20 min at 5:35. Starters arrived 50 min later at 6:05 ( burratta was tasty ). Dinner unfortunately showed up at 7:10, which was far too long. Pastas ( Cacio e pepe & Creste di gallo were tasty ).

Great place to visit for a date night in big island.
Very high quality Italian dishes here. We ordered Arancini and Polpette as appetizer, and they were both very straightforward and traditional recipe but cooked to perfection. I appreciated this very traditional Italian dish with no unnecessary additional flavors added to it (sometimes, it is just SO HARD to find a restaurant that cooks basic dish RIGHT!) but I can also see some people might appreciate a unique flavor with some chef’s touch in a five star hotel restaurant.
My pasta, Lobster Agnolotti, was perfect, too. It also had some unique flavor, and you get almost half a lobster in this dish. I definitely felt that it was worth the price I paid for.
The other pasta dish that my husband ordered was pretty good.
Overall, great experience with good service and amazing beachfront view. I would come back here again.

We had an amazing experience at Beach Tree. Service was incredible with great suggestions of what was recommended. Our adult beverages were very good but the food was all incredibly. We loved the view and the setting at sunset. Would definitely go back again.
