This place has personality!!! I stopped here while on business in the Princess Anne area and I absolutely loved the food. They take your order in an odd way, but the New Yorker in me did not mind. I had the fried flounder with bay fries and a side salad. The fries was a 10+++++…… I’m still dreaming about them. Flounder was good. This is now on my places to go when I’m down in this area.

We came to visit from the UK and we were not disappointed. The soft crab sandwich was to die for, we had a seafood platter too which was incredible. What’s more the owner is lovely, the vibe is amazing and the cinnamon rice pudding…. Wow!
Sure, the service system is quirky, but to us, that’s part of the charm of this place. The food speaks for its self.

Maryland Soft Shell Crab, perfectly seasoned and fried. Add tomato, lettuce, bacon, and their house tartar to make this sandwich melt with every bite.
Sides: Their fries are so crispy! I’m picky about cole slaw and this is some of the best I’ve had. The macaroni and potato salad are both great if you get to them while they are cold.
Clam strips, crab cakes, flounder filets… Everything I’ve ordered has been just right. You won’t be disappointed!

My boyfriend has been hyping this place up to me for years and today I finally made it! The crabcakes are so delicious, filled with flaky crab and very little to no filler/breading. Hush puppies tasted amazing with the homemade tartar sauce. Not a huge fan of potato salad, but this was some of the best I’ve ever eaten. It was all light and tasty. Inside dining is closed but it was the perfect day to sit and eat at the picnic table and enjoy the weather

Wow. We are staying in a home on Deal Island for vacation & so happy previous Google reviewers steered us toward this place (thank you!). We all got different combos and sides and there wasn’t anything we didn’t thoroughly enjoy! Kicking myself for turning down the rice pudding for dessert! (Though not sure we’d have room.. but might go back for lunch and rice pudding tomorrow!) Easy call-to-order, seamless pickup with very pleasant gentleman and woman at the windows, & 10/10 food.. & plenty of it! Pic attached of my combo #1 with sides of hush puppies & beets! Will include on our VRBO review as well! Wouldn’t want anyone to miss this place!
Edited to update: went back for lunch and got the rice pudding (with the cinnamon). Let’s just say we won’t skip it next time! So good.

Was here last summer and nothing has changed with their ordering system. Still not open for dine in. You have to order on the side in their makeshift outdoor carry out. You have to yell your order to a guy behind the window 6’ away and then stand outside in the cold and wind waiting for your order. Food is good but not worth all of this nonsense – won’t go back!

Place seems to be still scared of Covid – dining room is closed and there is an outside window for service, but it is roped off and you put your money or card on a tray attached to an oar that they use to slide the tray back and forth on. Crazy. Also expensive: minimum for lunch for two is about $45

Today(08/20) my wife and I came from Northern Virginia to attend to some personal business and wanted before we returned home, to enjoy an Eastern Shore crab sandwich and soup. However, when we arrived around lunchtime, there was a sign pasted on the door saying the establishment was closed for the day as the State of Maryland owed the business money. Assuming for a moment this is true, what sort of response is this? It would seem to me the first priority of a business is to stay open for their customers.

I live nearby and have always wanted to try there Jumbo Lump Crab cakes so last night I ordered the 2 crab cake Jumbo Lump with hush puppies and bay fries and cream of crab. My wife and I were truly let down and disappointed when we tried the crab cakes they were full of filler and had only a couple pieces of meat and it was not lumped the menu states “our premium crab cakes beach to bay makes one of the best!” This is not true I have had more meat in the ones from Caesars Pizza across the highway, wish I could get my money back for the let down they gave us I can only imagine how the regular crab cakes look oh and they don’t give you the option to broil as I would have.

Awesome softshell crab and grouper sandwich. Best coleslaw I’ve had in a long time! The softshell season was just beginning so they only had huge crabs, bigger than what they normally put on the sandwiches.
