Rowdy hangout where party people dance, listen to live music & chill in the courtyard.

The Beach is a High Energy nightclub that parties way into the early morning hours. A lot lights and fog. If you’re looking for a high energy after hours club, The ⛱️ Beach ️ is the go to place to be.

My overall experience was not the best, sadly. Was having fun at first, the host were lively and appreciated. We left out to get food, the food was not what I expected at all. The service was not great at all. Then, I tried to go in the bar for the second time, I was rejected because the security guard said I was hostile after showing him my ID. I was not hostile so I ignored him, he put his arm up to stop me from walking in and asked what my problem was. I did not have a problem so the tried to continue walking, he grabbed me and said “nah you’re cool.” I went to the next security guard to explain and he told me he was not allowed to override another security guard. This was very unfair as all my friends were allowed to go in besides me leaving me outside alone and uncomfortable, until my friends came back. He said they’re not hostile like you. I don’t know what could’ve been hostile about me, except for not wanting to tell this man my “problem”.

I went here to celebrate my bachelorette trip one night this weekend and we were on stage behind the dj booth with 20-30 other women dancing having fun and someone in a group of men threw his entire drink at my friend and definitely had the intentions to throw his drink at all the women. The security told us there was nothing they can do because they didn’t see who did it and needed proof. She was soaked head to toe. The whole group should have been kicked out if no one was going to say who did it. I will be taking this to social media and will be telling everyone I know that the Beach on bourbon does not protect women!!!!

I had a great time but I was attacked at the end of the night by one of the bouncers . I tried to explain that I had left my phone with my id (la wallet ) in the restroom and he had an over all bad attitude about it and told me to “go around “ me and my friend proceeded to go around to the bar area and he tackled me out of nowhere ! I fell to the ground , mind you I weigh 124 ibs and an 5’0 tall. He is well over 200ibs and about 6’0. I got up and he tried to push and drag me out of the club . I kept telling his to stop touching me and kept asking why he would tackle me like that . He took my purse from me and threw it in the middle of the street . When I asked for the manager he refused to give me his full name . My dad is NOPD and I had to file a police report that night ! I’m seeing this is not a new occurrence and someone was attacked Super Bowl night ! This is a issue that needs to be handled.

This is a place to avoid when visiting Burboun Street in New Orleans folks. At night, it’s loud, generally unplesent and overpriced. I travel quite a bit and host a radio show. We’ll have to talk about this establishment depositing it in our “dump”. The “Geheime Staatspolizei” type of security is way overkill, We agree with another review here regarding the third party ridiculous security as ultimately, it is costing them business. However, given what ocurred here on New Years Day 2925, it is understandable, but nonetheless, yes way overkill especially compared to literally every other establishment in the French Quarter. Really quite disrespectful. Guess ownership doesn’t care. During the afternoon, I’d upgrade my scores bit as it is more laid back and has a friendlier environment. The food is very so so and the service is just okay . There are so many truly great places to enjoy in terms of atmosphere and environment. This is certainly not one. You should actually check out some of the more ” locals” type spots on Frenchmans and on Magazine especially if you are a bit tired of hearing non- stop cover bands. Regardless, enjoy your stay but take my advice. Avoid this place. There are far better and more “customer friendly” places on Burboun Street with much better atmosphere and food. Our grade: F.

Visiting 2 weeks before Fat Tuesday 2026. They were NOT OPEN Monday 02/09/26 (not sure if it’s every Monday). This place ended up being my “go to” club during my stay. Bartenders were friendly & nice to look @. Especially CAS.
Pricing is per drink, not how much I spent every visit.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. Absolutley the worst place in the French Quarter and probably all of New Orleans. Horribly overpriced, rude disrespectful and discourteous security, a staff that has no regard for it’s customers snd beverage mixes that are very mediocre at best. The security to get in the place is worse than any airport that I’ve ever been. Expect a complete pat down and don’t look the wrong way or you won’t get in. Possibly expect an interrogation. There are so many great venues, restaurants and cafe businesses on Burboun Street. Why give Beach on Burboun any of your money? If enough people don’t, maybe management will move on making some badly needed adjustments.
Given the name, no ” beach” type of bar in any beacfront town would ever survive a week. I confronted one of the security staff regarding their overall attitude and his reaction was ” I don’t care, file a complaint”. In my business and most others, he’d be fired on the spot. And yes, the drinks are not as good as other spots and way too expensive. Do yourself and the community a favor and go elsewhere. Let’s see what happens.

Check your receipts. They add so many charges. THERE IS ALREADY A SERVICE CHARGE (18 precent) and they have a tip option on top of that, that does not state “additional tip” is says “add tip”.
I’ve never in my life seen a service charge at a bar. Maybe a fine dining place. And of course these silly little bartenders know what they’re doing and don’t tell you there is already a tip.

Beach on Bourbon? More like Breach on Bourbon. If you’re into chaos, confusion, and disappointment wrapped in a neon sign.. congratulations! you’ve found your place. This “venue” (and I use that term generously) couldn’t organize a drink order, let alone an event. The staff acts like doing their actual job is a personal favor to you, and management seems allergic to accountability.
We came expecting to celebrate. What we got was a masterclass in apathy. No coordination, no communication, no clue. Watching them “run” things was like watching a group project where everyone forgot to show up. The vibe wasn’t beachy, more like beached.
Honestly, Bourbon Street has a ton of places where the drinks are good and the staff doesn’t look like they’re being held hostage. Go literally anywhere else. This place is a parody of itself and not the funny kind.
