I stopped by Beach Hut Deli in Citrus Heights and tried the Cali Caperse sandwich it was absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and perfect for anyone who loves a good veggie-packed sandwich. I paired it with some ranch for dipping, which made it even better. I really missed having my Vikki’s Spicy Dill Pickle Chips on the side, but this sandwich more than made up for it. The staff was so sweet, friendly, and professional. Definitely a five-star experience all around!

I’ve gone to this location in person, ordered from doordash, and ordered online for pick up.
Sometimes the food is a hit sometimes a miss.
The Marley nachos are delicious!
My favorite is the Cali and my husband the bird.
I have gotten stale chips once though
Otherwise yummy sandwich spot.

Grace and Heaven are the best! Not only is this the best beachhut when it comes to fast service, but Grace makes the best Marley nachos. If you like nachos, you know there’s an art to it, and she knocks it out of the park! Everytime we go the staff is great and food just tastes fresher and better at this location. They will even bring your food to your table…no other beach hut does that! Its the little things. Don’t be surprised to go in on a week night and see it packed with either a trivia night or karaoke or something else. They really have it down at this beach hut and it shows! Best beach hut ever!

The food was delicious and had good sized portions. The customer service and atmosphere were nice. I had the Pig Kahuna on gluten-free bread.

The same management and staff from the the old Greenback location but in a shiny new package. It’s location and the design and floor plan is equally beautiful. There is a patio with large umbrellas and a 2 dining room one of which is a fully sheltered with a roll-up wall to open it to the outside. The food is great with their classic gigantic portions. Outstanding! *They have new stools outside that are much more stable that the ones in my pictures.

You can’t throw a hard salami in this town without hitting a sandwich shop. Lots of new ones popping up. Some pretty good ones. BUT… Beach Hut is by far the best, hands down. Yes, a little pricey. But the sandwiches are HUGE. So packed with meat and veggies you cannot close them when you eat. Lots of choices too. That alone is the reason I keep coming back. Add to that the relaxing beach/reggae/summer themed decor and music. All it needs is sand on the floor.

I look forward to Beach Hut every Christmas Eve when I fly to CA to visit family. I ordered take-out and discovered they forgot the meat!! And it was on the wrong bread. I couldn’t go back and they were closed the next day so I just had to eat a very sad $17 vegetable sandwich.

Tried this location a few times now. Staff are not attentive and don’t greet guests. Took awhile for someone to come out of the back and even acknowledge us. Wouldn’t mind if sandwich was amazing, but it was sloppy and toppings were not distributed evenly. It’s all about that maximum coverage and minimal overhang of each topping. Not fun biting in to a log of cream cheese and meat only on one side.

I want to start by saying that I have only ever had delicious sandwiches from here until today. I usually order the Californian which is basically an avocado and cheese sandwich with all the veggies. I have ordered this sandwich from various Beach Hut locations at all different times of the year. The avocados are always perfect. Today the one I received from the Citrus Heights location had avocados that were rotten. I called the store after receiving it and the manager told me that avocados were out of season so they were forced to serve rotten ones. At this point I was less concerned about the bad avocados than I was about the fact that they straight up admitted they were serving rotten ingredients. Anyway, I get that avocados have a season, but if they are bad they shouldn’t offer them as an option. I’m writing this in the hopes that the franchise owner will see it and change the practice of forcing employees to use rotten produce.
