The cool vibe hits you when you walk through the door. The environment was relaxed between the staff, the music and the decor. It felt like a bar when I went due to some loud patrons who were there. I ordered the XL Northshore and waited. I took the order to go and ate later. I was impressed by the sheer size of the meal. There was more than enough to split between two people, as I was unable to finish the whole thing (I usually have no trouble putting down a Large sub from Jersey Mike’s for comparison). The sandwich was full of meat and tasted very nice. The bread was fresh too. Given the amount of food, it was good for the value.

Beach Hut was great. The surfing Bird never disappoints. Its actually been a couple years since I’ve eaten here and I was over due. The Medium sandwich is plenty of food and has enough flavor variety going on to where I’m not craving a side of chips.

Amazing service in this location ALWAYS! The staff here are always on top of it, even during lunch hour rush. They always get the order right and they add every topping to your sandwich with the same care as if they are making their own. I wish I could afford to tip them more every time b/c the customer service and quality here are both stand out for all the best reasons!

Online and on the door says CLOSES AT 8 PM. We walked up at 7:38 PM, from Natomas, to a fully lit restaurant full of staff and a locked door. Bad business.

WHERE IS THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT? Not one employee making food or serving food wore a face mask or hair net (couldn’t even tie their hair back while making food) Dirty. Tables were sticky, finger prints on the windows. No employees wore masks, refrigerators were down so no beer, but they somehow were still serving food?
