Breakfast – good quality food and reasonably priced.
Nice atmosphere well away from the casino (it’s in the hotel end near the spa).
Park in the west garage on the lower levels (go down) and/or use the hotel entrance drop off to avoid the casino.

Lauren – Manager
I approached the manager, Lauren, after being told the wait time would be approximately 30 minutes. An hour later, we were still waiting. When I asked for an update, she responded dismissively, stating that the quoted wait time was only an estimate. Had the host communicated that more clearly, we could have made an informed decision about whether to stay.
Instead, we waited over an hour and were then told it would be an additional 15 minutes. As a manager, I would expect more empathy, transparency, and customer-focused communication. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism and consideration resulted in a frustrating and disappointing experience. I will not be returning after such a waste of time and poor customer service.

Why is the manager the manager, she is awful or doesn’t like melanin people-not sure ?!? I never go to restaurants, get told 30-40 minutes and then get told by the manager well it’s just an estimate. Well had you have said that upfront I would’ve gone elsewhere

Don’t think a 50 dollar comp will silence me Lauren, as a manager you need training….if your host said 25 minutes 1hr ago when I approached you there was no need to question when I arrived becuase your records showed 10:50am

Good service and large booths and many tables. Food was 3 to 4 stars – about what you’d expect at a hotel breakfast/lunch cafe. The best plate we had was the Eggs Benedict. Good hollandaise, perfectly cooked eggs, light and delicious ham and tasty hash browns. The Chicken Fried Steak was “pretty good” but not great. We prefer it made from ground or pounded beef and this was a breaded sirloin. Large, but a touch firm and just not as delicious as what we usually get in Portland diners. The eggs and hash browns were cooked perfectly and it was probably enough food for two folks to share.
Our son got the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were lovely: fluffy and large. Definitely homemade. The gravy was more buttery than creamy and hardly any sausage in it. I’m kinda on the fence about recommending it and my son said he wished he got pancakes instead.
Prices weren’t too bad. I would eat here again if I come back to the great Clearwater Resort.

We stopped in here for breakfast lunch. The food was great the service was great and the cocktails were even better. A beautiful day

This ranks at the top of bad dining experiences. I ordered take-away while staying at the resort. The food was so oversalted that it was inedible. The vegetables were soggy, so the other food, bag, and take-out containers were soaked. At 20 minutes before closing, they told me the kitchen was closing in five minutes and they didn’t have some things available. When preparing drinks, the staff scooped the ice with the plastic cups they gave us, NOT with an ice scoop as required by law. No telling the germs they have in there. Staff seemed completely unconcerned about pleasing guests. They had the attitude that they were being bothered at work.

The food was delicious! While the staff members were nice, there were definitely aspects of the service that could be improved. First, when we were given the choice to sit inside or outside, we chose outside. The young woman who would seat us made sure to mention they closed at 2pm. It was off putting since we had over an hour till closing. Then, our server was so nice, but she handed all of our plates to us rather than setting them on the table. I asked for extra sauce on the side and again, it was just being handed to me. I have trouble grasping things so when I tried to grab it, I almost dropped it and my finders ended up covered in the sauce. There was no apology or offer of extra napkins. Again, our server was very nice, which leads me to believe this is a training issue and not specific to our server. I would stay at this hotel again but would think twice since there are other options that have restaurants with a higher level of service.

I ordered fish and chips and even though they made it fresh, it did not taste good or satisfying. It took me 2 days to finish it and it was only out of desperation. It felt oily, underseasoned and the fries were previously frozen. It was sad and it discouraged me from ordering anything else there.

Great bunch of folks. They actually ask to help when it appears you might need directions. The casino had lots of gaming options and cranking out some jackpots. There are six restaurants in the Casino and three gas stations around the facility that honor their player card. We tried the Beach Glass Cafe on a Saturday night. We ordered halibut Taco’s that had some fresh fish but had some peculiar seasonings we think it was anise that doesn’t work the bland aoli served to complement the dish. I ordered a chicken lettuce wrap that was all sugar but fabulous texture. They have an awesome bar with plenty of beers on tap. The service was friendly and helpful. Our choices were not the best but they had lots of other options we will try on our next visit.
