The staff were very friendly and the service was good, so that was a bright spot.
I took a picture of the two things I got, I didnt get a drink. The total was $18. I will let others judge for themself if what they see is worth $18.
Tried this place located at the Oceanfront- Virginia Beach for lunch. Prices were the only thing decent. But also remember you get what you pay for. I got the lamb gyro combo and my order was wrong. But I didn’t complain I just ate it anyways because I had to wait at least 15mins for my order and the food was pretty bland and basic. They only give you a handful of fries and you can almost count them. I will try something else next time. They have alot of options on the menu.
On my revist I order the 2 slice pizza combo and I must say the slices were huge and pizza was good. Still was waiting for 20 minutes but I expected that.
I decided to go to Harris Teeters to pickup jalapeños for the pizza. Arrived at Bella (6:15) only to to be told it will be few minutes. Ten minutes later my orders was ready. On the way back to hotel, the aroma was phenomenal.
Wife and I placed the foods by the balcony overlooking the beach for romantic dinner. The wings were tasty with plenty of hot and teriyaki sauce to coat the wings. Pizza looks great, however, once I bit into it, it was doughy. I contemplate to take it back but wifey said let’s not ruin this moment so we both finished the wings, not so much for the pizza.
1. They couldn’t give me the chicken soup because it hadn’t been de-thawed from the freezer; thereby, indicating that their soups are not freshly made OR that they reuse restaurant made soup the next day.
2. The marinara dip is not thick but watered down.
3. I entered the establishment right when no other customers were in the restaurant and was not greeted at all.
4. There is nothing special about the pizza sauce. It tastes generic and store bought. But in this case, bought from a distributor instead of in-house made.
5. The dough was textured and baked well. No additional seasoned butter was added so it tasted just like regular pizza bread.
6. New York City’s $1-$2 quick pizzas are a greater value but contains better flavor and taste.
7. Pepsi was not fizzy and watered down when it came to my table.
8. Good news is that they serve plant-based sausage. Bad news is that they don’t know how to prepare & cook it properly with precision.
9. Poorly constructed salad and poorly tasting Caesar dressing.
I didn’t try everything on the menu but nor will I.
