Grabbed dinner here with wifey last night. Heard about the owner having health struggles so wanted to contribute to a small business. We ordered the smoked chicken pita which was on the Friday Special Menu. I also ordered a side of potato salad. Wifey said “less sauce & more chicken” about the pita, which I’d have to agree about the former. The potato salad was fairly creamy & tasty but a lil less sauce would also be good. I wonder if the guy who took our order (brown hair, glasses) was perhaps a manager; he was asking the other guys to do various tasks but not in a bossy way, & he said thank you after each request I definitely want to return to actually try some BBQ!

ALL ROADS LEAD TO 8 CORNERS! There you will find a great treasure hidden in the heart of Brookfield!
Award-winning bbq standards are always on point, but the BRUNCH and the SPECIALS are the secret weapons.
Love the gumbo this weekend and I saw your clip on WGN Sunday Brunch, so I have to come try the Breakfast Burger…CANDIED BACON, YOU SAY??!!

After a long day, I needed something satisfying, something that hit just right. Beach Avenue BBQ was exactly that. A local spot buzzing with energy, full of people enjoying the festivities. The place was packed with laughter, and you could see the kitchen working non-stop, smoke and spices filling the air with the unmistakable aroma of slow-cooked barbecue.
I ordered the Pulled Chicken Sandwich with a side of mac and cheese, and let me tell you—it was a home run. The pulled chicken was incredibly juicy and tender, packed with rich, smoky flavor. It was slathered in a sauce that added the perfect balance of sweetness, tang, and a little heat, I think it was called Louisiana BBQ sauce, but honestly, the name didn’t even matter because the flavor made me forget about everything else. The toasted bun held up well, soaking in just the right amount of sauce without falling apart, adding a slight crunch to contrast the softness of the meat.
And then there was the mac and cheese, a dish so rich and creamy, it could stand on its own. The cheese sauce was velvety, thick, and full of deep, savory flavor, clinging to every piece of pasta. It wasn’t just cheese thrown on noodles; this was slow-cooked, properly seasoned, and ridiculously comforting. Each bite was pure bliss, making it hard to put the fork down.
Beach Avenue BBQ knows how to do real, flavorful barbecue, and they do it well. If you’re craving tender, smoky meats and indulgent sides, this spot is worth every bite.

Service was friendly and atmosphere is good, but as a first timer i wasn’t impressed with the food. $18 for brisket that I wouldn’t pay $5 for as it left me hungry. It was mostly fat with very little meat and what meat it had was pretty bland. Very disappointed.

I don’t do reviews often but when I say I wanted to write this review mid bite! This BBQ restaurant is sooo delicious! Juan is a pit master and a saint! We drove from Chicago to try it and they did not disappoint. Lord forgive me the Waygu beef brisket was a melt in your mouth tender I can only describe as heavenly. I regret not getting more we had samples of the smoked Turkey, tri tip, & hot chicken. We ordered the half chicken, the waygu brisket, street corn, Mac and cheese, slaw, corn bread, to go we had the rice pudding and bread pudding Delicious! I overheard chef describing a smoked gyro they do on Fridays and not a Friday will pass that I won’t think about hightailing it to Beach Ave. BBQ to try it! The experience from the entrance to the exit!! was perfect!! the menu items were fairly priced the dine in area was clean and the staff were attentive and kind! 10/10 would recommend! (The photos I took aren’t great but wanted to show what we had)

The food is not bad. The only issue I had with the restaurant is that the meat is a little on the tough side. There’s only one barbecue sauce to choose from & everything is A la Carte, which can become very costly when feeding more than one person. The Mac & Cheese is decent but nothing more than a carbon copy of Panera Bread Mac & cheese. The place is nice and clean with a friendly staff.

Had lunch here. Ordered some pastrami, brisket, and some jalapeno cheddar links. All were awesome! The pastrami was a special item at the time so dont expect it all the time. Soo good, will definitely be back.

This place has wagyu brisket they sell it buy half pound, i loved the flavor of it 5/5 along with a the menphis bbq sauce. We also tried 1lbs of the ribs they had a nice smoke ring and very tender they are a bit on the sweeter side 5/5. Pulled pork sandwhich was 5 of 5 as well.
For the sides we tried the mac n cheese we felt that it needed a bit of salt, but then thought that it was paired good with the bbq no salt was needed. The corn bread as a bit on the crumbly side but had good flavor, the sausage link 5/5.
I will not knock any points because of the sides, but i would say if you had some other types of bbq sauces like spicy or more smoky and less sweet that would be a hit there was only one sauce type.
The drinks were on point as well especailly with the mexican habiscus water and and rice water soy based!
Over plus tip was about 75 dollars well worth it!

Excellent BBQ. We’ll worth the 60 minute drive from Yorkville.
Had the BBQ sampler and it didn’t disappoint! The smoked chicken was probably my favorite. Well….maybe the bourbon bread pudding!
Street Corn was on point! So much food for $45 and I couldn’t finish it all.

We love BBQ.
Service-order up front, not so much service. The order front lady was helpful in helping us to order food.
