I haven’t tried their food bc I don’t know whether they have anything gluten and dairy free but their coffee is great. In particular I’ve tried the almond milk latte with honey and cinnamon. Yum! Also they’re painting a mural on the wall and it’s been cool to watch. 🙂 definitely recommend. 🙂

UPDATE: The business representative who responded to this review was not able to locate the transaction – this is because I left after the worker tried to charge me almost 5 dollars for three shots of espresso and then closed the window in my face (i.e., of course there was no transaction!!). This would actually be kind of funny if the business did not serve food and drink. Otherwise, the excuse provided is that the cost of individual espresso is not on the menu because patrons of the coffee shop do not order their espresso and they need to pay for cups and lids. As such, and according to the business, their espresso is so terrible that people will not order a shot/shots without mixing it with something else – very telling as I am not aware of any other coffee shop in the continental US that proudly claims no one will order their espresso! The repeatedly demonstrated lack of competence and good coffee would seem to reinforce my recommendation that folks avoid this business at all costs!
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Avoid! Some businesses are certainly more deserving of 1-star reviews than others, and this business seemingly takes the cake! I patronized this business a couple weeks ago and purchased a small drip coffee with three shots of espresso. I did not scrutinize the price, but my impression was that I paid way too much for an unnecessarily bitter/acidic cup of ‘gas station’ coffee. I decided to go back today (2/11) to see if the espresso was any good if it was not mixed with their coffee. The advertised price for a shot of espresso is $1.04 including tax. The individual who took my order (female with large nose ring) advised that my total would be $4.64. Upon inquiry as to the $1.52 overage I was advised that the additional charge was “tax”. Tennessee does not charge an [approximate] 33% sales tax on food, so I inquired again – I was again advised that the additional charge constituted “tax”. I then pointed out that the menu unequivocally stated that all listed prices included tax, and this time I was advised that $4.64 was the charge for a triple shot of espresso regardless of the advertised price we were both staring at. Instead of offering to honor the advertised price or to ‘get a supervisor’ to further address the customer inquiry, the individual told me she “would not argue with me” because the price she quoted was the price memorialized on her handheld computer (the handheld computer apparently supersedes basic 1st-grade addition). The employee essentially closed the window in my face. My concern with this business is that if the person making your coffee cannot successfully add $1.04 + $1.04 + $1.04, then you as the customer probably need to think twice before consuming the coffee the mathematically-challenged ‘barista’ made. The good news for customers wanting a cup of coffee on Dayton Blvd., is that the Food City approximately 1/2 mile up the street [toward Dayton] has a Starbucks that not only serves significantly better coffee, but this Starbucks also honors their menu prices (unlike Be Caffeinated).

This location is fantastic! The frozen Chattahooligan is my favorite treat-yoself coffee in town!! Jess is incredible, and i love how quaint this location is! every staff member i’ve dealt with is sweet as pie, i encourage anyone in the area to take the time to try them out, and leave a big ole tip!!

Sadly the last two drinks I got were not worth the $10+tip that I paid. Spending that much on a drink and tipping your employee only to be let down yet again is a shame. If the employees don’t feel comfortable making the drinks on the menu then please tell them to decline the order. $25+ wasted.

A great drive thru only gem in the Red Bank area with very good brewed coffee and flavored coffees! They also had food options but did not try on this trip. Diffently will try again!

I frequent Becaffeinated often but today I had absolutely terrible customer service. If you go in the mornings, at least in Red Bank, you know that the lines can be long. Today, after waiting for 3-5 minutes, when I was about to pull up to the window the worker went outside to take trash out and get some supplies from upstairs. After waiting another 3-5 minutes for her to come back in and close the door, I pulled up. After another minute passed, she huffed and puffed, opened the door to squeeze past and walked out again, without saying a word such as “I’ll be right with you”. After another minute or so she comes back in, finally acknowledged me and says she will be right with me ( most likely because i was on the phone and asked myself if this was a freaking joke). She takes my order with a major attitude and then complains to her colleague very loudly about me. Needless to say, we wont return. I had to throw away my drink because of how hateful she was.

This is an amazing place and always great service unless it’s the blonde younger lady she hates her job, always has an attitude, slams the window , she’s just too damn lazy to get the blender out I guess… asked for 2 drinks blended and she even confirmed by asking if we wanted whip cream then she gives us… hot coffee no whip cream no nothing taste horrible by the other reviews id say people agree with me its definitely the same bad employee please fire her

So, I’m posting this, 2 weeks after my visit to the shop❣️ I’m from the Huntsville area, but always find the neatest and best people who serve coffee on my journeys. That being said, Lexi is AMAZING ❣️❣️❣️
