This restaurant was recommended to our group for a party and no one went home disappointed. The food flavours were absolutely amazing and the service was very accommodating. Aromatic Vietnamese spices are infused in upscale versions of traditional dishes for modern palates. We ordered a bunch of appies, including spring rolls, salad rolls, crunchy wings (the B&D chili fish sauce flavour is a must-try!) and crispy tofu. All tasted fresh and delicious. You can’t go wrong with their warm & comforting staple, B&D Special Pho Bowl. We also ordered the Bahn Hoi platter, grilled pork chop on rice, roasted chicken, a winter special – lobster & tomato soup, plus the table favourite – crab fried rice! Everyone agreed that the dishes were immensely tasty and satisfying. There will definitely be a return visit soon!

Probably the best no-frills Vietnamese we’ve had in Greater Vancouver.
Six of us came on a Saturday around 6 pm and ordered a big spread (bánh xèo, soft-shell crab noodle soup, crab fried rice, grilled platter, crispy tofu, fried chicken rice, etc.). Portion control was perfect — everything got finished with zero leftovers and everyone was happily stuffed.
Highlights:
• The crab fried rice was outstanding on its own, but that special spicy coriander-lime dipping sauce on the side made it absolutely addictive.
• Crispy tofu came with the most amazing lemongrass-soy drizzle — easily the surprise star of the night.
The place was still packed with a line-up when we left at 7:30 pm, which says it all. Service was fast and friendly despite how busy they were.
Tip: definitely book ahead if you don’t want to wait!
Hands down a new favourite — we’re already planning the next visit!

The food here is really good, and I love the interior aesthetics!
The pho dishes have options for how light you want the broth and the lightest option gets you a fairly clear broth that still tastes great. The beef carpaccio is amazing and I really enjoyed the hotpot here as well.
The menu design is also one of the best menus I’ve seen.
There’s so many things I want to try here, I’ll definitely be visiting again!

The sticky rice honey chicken comes in a generous portion, with a house-made dipping sauce I needed three cups of it to finish the dish properly. Bingo.
The bánh canh cua hits even deeper: thick tapioca noodles, rich crab gravy soup. The crispy soft-shell crab rocks.
This is the kind of food that lets you try something new and still feel at home.

Absolutely loved B&D Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine! We tried the Bún Bò Huế, lemongrass chicken, and the coconut rice cake, and everything was so flavorful and comforting. The lemongrass chicken was honestly the best I’ve ever had—perfectly seasoned and cooked so well. The Bún Bò Huế was rich and satisfying, and the coconut rice cake was such a great finish. I’ll definitely be coming back, especially for that coconut rice cake. Highly recommend!

We ordered the Bahn Khot, Special Beef Pho (with bone marrow) and the Chicken Rice plate. I told the waitress (Uyen) that I like bahn xeo when ordering the bahn knot, and she assured me that I would also enjoy this dish. Uyen was very attentive and provided us with genuine recommendations that were fantastic!
The chicken had an amazing skin that was cooked perfectly, while the rice was well balanced. The Pho special and bone marrow were also delicious! While rich with the marrow, the bowl had a light flavour that did not rely on additional condiments. Uyen was right and the Bahn Khot was also my favourite!
Overall I would recommend B&D heavily for a great all around meal! I will be back again (probably soon)

One of the better Vietnamese spots in the area. It’s consistently busy during meal times, so a reservation is preferred. The frog legs were a standout, nicely seasoned, super flavourful, and a little addictive. The chicken rice was decent. The tropical salad, from their winter seasonal menu, had such a satisfying crunch and bright flavours. Always enjoy coming back here and slowly working my way through their menu, so many gems to discover.

This is probably the 5th times i came back to this place so im pretty sure i had almost everything on their menu.
Their appe are ok, their spring roll is quite expensive for the portion, the other dishes are ok not super excellent but def not bad.
Their mains are good except for their Pho Sorry if u want a good Pho, it wont be here but i LOVEEE their Bánh canh cua, Bún riêu, Cơm gà xối mỡ. Side note: u wont be full with just their main (if u are an average eater)

The grilled pork was juicy and flavorful, the salad rolls were fresh and light, and the pho broth was rich and comforting. Everything tasted freshly made and beautifully presented.

The service was friendly, quick, and attentive. Staff made great recommendations and checked in regularly to make sure everything was perfect. You can really feel their care and hospitality.

This restaurant needs to enhance its service. The food is generally average and served in small portions. We became confused while looking at the menu, and by the time we ordered, we had unintentionally ordered the same dish twice. Unfortunately, the server did not clarify this. When the food arrived, we realized we had double-ordered the same item. To improve as a good restaurant, they should inform customers when they place an order. However, it is worth noting that the restaurant has seen significant improvements recently.
