We had a lovely, quiet spot for our group, which made it perfect for conversations with a larger party. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating; we were inside this time. I ordered the salmon sandwich with fruit and added a side of sweet potato fries—everything was delicious! Everyone at the table really enjoyed their meals, making it a wonderful dining experience.

Stopped in for dinner. I had never been there and always wanted to try it. Our appetizer, pretzels and pita bread with cheese, was great. Main courses came out and were less than great. I had the French dip. It was dry and loaded with crispy onions. My wife had the Sunday Special Amish Half Chicken. It seemed over cooked and like the fry oil was burnt. Was about an hour or more from time we were seated till finished eating. The whole time we had to swat at flies and gnats. They were landing in the food and drinks. I don’t believe we’ll be back. Better options in the area, especially for what it costs.

Dinner for 5 celebrating a birthday. Everything was below standard across the board. On top of the food standards, the service was significantly lacking. No management touchpoints, salad arrived before apps, dinner hit the table with apps still out, no refill requests on cocktails, no reference of the celebration.
Drinks:
Espresso martinis with no garnish and lacked balance of flavor. ⭐️⭐️
Four Roses Manhattan (BC’s Barrel Manhattan) – unbalanced drink, to much vermouth which screams hand pour and probably the reason for the poor execution. Mine was also served on the rocks and not up which was never ordered that way. ⭐️
Apps:
Margarita Pizza – great flavor, non traditional margarita with tomato’s under the cheese, heavy handed on the cheese, no fresh basil to finish, no additional Parmesan ⭐️⭐️
Crab dip with wonton chips – just left you feeling heavy, chips were almost too crunchy, left quite a bit to be desired. ⭐️
Dinner:
Chicken Marsala – chicken was cooked wonderfully and fork tender, Marsala sauce was thin and lacked depth of flavor, appeared to be a quick cook sauce due to light color of the sauce, gnocchi served with it were 100% not made in house and tasted exactly like the $3 pack that you buy at Schnucks or Aldis. ⭐️⭐️
NY Strip – 30 day dry aged??? Ummm…. Texas Roadhouse has better steaks coming from their sirloin selection. Real big let down with this “showstopper”. Potato’s were good and encompassed a good Midwest feeling to the dinner but left so much to be desired. ⭐️⭐️
I will point out that we don’t get the nachos and almost every time we saw them come by the table or pop up in the window (open kitchen) it looked like we made a mistake by not ordering them. Maybe next time but after this experience for a birthday dinner I’m not sure if I’ll go back to impress clients.

We went on a whim wanting to try something new for our anniversary. We were immediately greeted with a smile and taken to our seat which was in a “private table” space. Our server came along and answered and questions we had. She constantly kept our water filled and brought us boxes when we needed them. Our food was phenomenal and absolutely had nothing wrong. We highly recommend anyone to go if you’re wanting a nice dinner out with a casual atmosphere.

Once again, BC’s knocked our family dinner out of the park. The gumbo and chicken marsala were so on point, I made everyone at our table try some. Our server, Audi, was so attentive and truly cared about our experience. The barrel aged Manhattan she suggested was one of the best I’ve had. The whole staff was welcoming, to be honest. I’m ready to make reservations again…the sooner the better. If you haven’t dined there yet, do yourself a favor and check it out, you won’t regret it.

The Reuben sandwich was poorly balanced. The bread was overtoasted to the point of dryness, and the portion of meat was minimal, leaving the sandwich heavy on bread and light on flavor. Across the menu, seasoning was inconsistent. Some items were aggressively salted while others were bland and forgettable.
Service was notably poor. Every staff member we encountered seemed burdened by our presence. Questions about the menu were met with confusion, despite the simplicity of the offerings. There was no warmth, no attentiveness, and no effort to elevate the guest experience.
The environment was loud and uncomfortable. Conversation was difficult, and the seating lacked any sense of comfort or refinement. The space felt cold and drafty, further detracting from the meal.
For the price paid, the quality of food and hospitality was unacceptable. What should have been a casual but satisfying meal felt more like overpriced diner fare served in a neglected setting. We will not be returning.

First time dining here, we had lunch on a Saturday after the farmers market. Everything was delicious. Absolutely the best sweet potato fries we have ever had! Staff was friendly and attentive. Food came out hot (my burger actually steamed when I cut into it). Definitely a repeat, and would highly recommend.

Came for a special occasion and tried an assortment of the menu (definitely had leftovers). Loved the house-made ginger beer in the mules . For apps: the spinach salad, calamari, and crab dip were stellar.
For mains: the wood-fired pizza, filet mignon, and salmon were sizzling hot and fresh.
For dessert: the key lime pie, carrot cake, and chocolate cake were incredible by the pastry chef.

Our second visit was as good as the first. Every dish was uniformly delicious from the salad to the soup to the entree to the dessert. Even the veggies on the side were great, perfectly seasoned and cooked. My husband (who travels for work quite often on an expense account) called this one of the better meals he’s eaten recently. He had the salmon. I enjoyed the huge spinach salad with shrimp and the soup of the day. We shared the devil’s food cake for dessert. Yum!
