Casual Korean restaurant chain serving classic fare such as soft tofu soup, bibimbap & bulgogi.

Among all the soondubu restaurants in the OC area, it’s no surprise that this place is always busy.
At many restaurants, even asking for an extra side dish or a refill of water can feel like a burden, and some servers seem to care more about tips than service. That is absolutely not the case here.
The servers constantly walk around checking on tables, offering refills of side dishes, and making sure water glasses are never empty — without being asked. Their attentiveness and sincerity truly stand out.
Of course, the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable, but what really keeps me coming back is the excellent service. The staff’s work ethic and genuine care for customers make this restaurant special.
Highly recommended, and sincere compliments to the entire team.
This famous sundubu (soft tofu stew) restaurant is open until 2 AM, so I came here late at night with friends visiting from Korea. We ordered the Galbi/Bulgogi Combo Sundubu, and the meat portions were generous and the taste was so good that my friends even said it was better than in Korea. Of course, the price is higher than in Korea, but the quality makes it worth it.
The staff were very friendly and quickly refilled the side dishes, so I want to compliment them on their excellent service. Even late at night, the place was packed with mostly international customers, so if you plan to visit, be prepared for a wait. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Korean food.

My first experience here was ok. I give it 3 stars because the food was ok. It was lacking flavor and just that special food satisfaction from eating Kfoods. I am a huge fan of kimchi and was super excited to try it when the server brought it out, but it was just bland. i’ve had white kimchi and red kimchi and love it but this was not it. the kimchi stew and soybean stew was the same lackluster flavor as the kimchi. there was no flavor or that happy feeling I get when I eat k-comfort foods. I overall was not satisfied with the taste, however the LA Galbi was really good which was the highlight of the night and the staff was friendly. the rest of the banchan was not seasoned that well and the bulgogi was not that great. i love trying new places but for being highly recommended and hyped up it was just an ok food experience that left me unsatisfied.

Had the veggie bibimpab in hot stone pot combo with tofu soup with non meat broth. It also comes with generous sides of delicacies like kimchi, cucumbers, seaweed and more. Quite a feast! The service stands out as being very attentive and thorough. Would definitely come back. I hear that there are often lines out the door and I get why.

Thankfully open till late!
Yelp Waitlist at the entry but we were here at 10 pm and there was really no wait .
This is the probably the most common if not the largest chain standard of Soft Tofu soup across the SoCal region.
Side dishes include one whole fried fish, spicy thin cucumber, sesame and carrots in a sesame oil sweet soy sauce base, napa cabbage kimchi, seasoned thin sliced fish cakes – all of these are refillable.
Got a Galbi (LA cut short ribs) combo which comes with a smaller stone pot of soup ( I got the tripe/intestines) – it was okay but I’ve honestly had better flavor elsewhere, usually at the smaller Korean run or owned spots.
Kids’ meal option was well worth it – for the toddler we got the bulgogi combo : came with rice, a whole pack of seaweed laver, small tofu soup (no spice), two fried gyoza.
Very spacious restaurant, lots of parking usually available in this plaza, depending on the time of day.

One of the best late-night spots I’ve been to I haven’t been to too many tofu houses but this one was excellent. I’m definitely coming back here. It’s open till 2 AM so it is perfect when everything else is closed. Great customer service nice environment. Great food can’t go wrong.

Always feel like you’re being welcomed by family here. They’re very attentive by making sure your sides are always full, and overall, they are all just very respectful. Truly, great experience after a day of walking at universal studios. Comfort food, that never fails. Thank you for your great food and customer service.

I’m giving this place more like a 3.5. Luckily for them the food is excellent. The service was awful. The wait wasn’t that bad at around 40 min. The moment we sat down a rushing waitress showed up asking what we’d order and they dropped off 2 place settings. We were missing 1 napkin for 2 people. Not a big deal and was dealt with quickly. Then someone drops off 1 water and 2 teas so we are short 1 water. They never corrected the issue but it wasn’t an issue as my mother didn’t want ice water anyways, but it’s a bit much to assume. We hadn’t even gotten to look at the menu yet. Then a waitress comes around again before we are ready and we had to send her away again. Then finally we ordered. About 2 minutes later our rice arrives. After that it was a full 30 minutes before we received our food. People around us got their ban Chan and food before us despite ordering after us. All the food and ban Chan arrive at the same time and they are apologizing to us. The waitress (different person this time) asks us if we want tea. I say yes. No tea arrives until I ask. Then need the check. Have to ask again. I understand they are busy but everyone else seemed to be receiving what they ordered in a timely manner. You can probably get away with the delay with a larger table, but not a 2 person table. Our table was the only one that seemed to be waiting that long.

My favorite BCD location in OC! Whenever I’m craving gopchang (beef intestine) soon tofu soup, this is my go-to spot and I love the side dishes here. The fish cake, cucumber kimchi, and seasoned squid banchan are always fresh and flavorful.
The place is clean, spacious, and the staff is super friendly. Special shoutout to Kelly 이모! She was so nice and took the time to explain the menu and combos to us. We really enjoyed our lunch!
We ordered one Spicy Raw Crab Combo and one regular. The spicy crab was fresh, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of sauce, and paired perfectly with fluffy rice. I always choose spicy crab over galbi! For the finale, try the nurungji with seasoned squid!
This location is inside a plaza with plenty of parking. I went on a weekday, so I’m not sure how busy it gets on weekends, but there were tons of parking during the week. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful restaurant for friends and family! My family and I love to go eat here as it is a very comfortable place to enjoy Korean food. You can see all the workers being very dedicated to their costumers. One employee that stood out to us was Cristine. She is very nice, generous and always very attentive. We are always lucky to have as a server whenever we eat there.

A very busy Tofu House. Most especially int the evening of a Friday around 7:30 pm you have to wait a little longer for a table if you have a big party. We hit seated pretty fast as we were only two. Maybe their Tofu Soup and Banchan is good? You have to come in and try for yourself! They do have a lot of servers and the food comes in pretty quick. We ordered more Banchan as the portions were small. The Tofu soup is smaller and only had small pieces of beef compared to Eats Meat Soup restaurant. All in all the food was good for a typical chain restaurant . Service was superb!
