Lovely little joint that serves breakfast and lunch. 70’s, 80’s and 90’s jams while I eat my hot link and waffle? Say less. About 3 tables in the place so get here early on busy mornings. The food is fresh, hot, and comforting. I’ll definitely be back!

We had a great time at BB’s Cafe
We ordered burritos, fried chicken, waffles, and eggs. The food was tasty and fresh, and the portions were just right. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. I would definitely recommend this place.

What a happy find! The chicken and waffles were delicious. The waffle was just the right amount of crispy and full of great flavor. Honestly this could be the best waffle I have ever had. Chicken wings are perfectly crunchy and absolutely full of flavor.
We also had the pulled pork breakfast burrito. Also wonderful! The eggs and hash browns cooked perfectly and that pulled pork flavor really shines.
Finished our meal with Peach Cobbler, as you should. A sweet ending to our happy find. Great staff and amazing food. Highly recommend!

Just had the tastiest breakfast. Hands down one of the best waffles I’ve ever had paired with perfectly cooked crispy wings. My husband had a delicious pulled pork burrito, with jalapenos and a fresh salsa. Friendly service, 10/10 food & customer service. Highly recommend you come try for yourself

I had the chicken and waffles , along with two eggs over medium. The meal was described on the menu as four pieces of chicken and a waffle. The two eggs were ordered A La carte. The chicken was actually four pieces of drumetts. When the food came the eggs were cooked hard and the waffle was rubbery. I also had a cup of coffee (or was that motor oil). The chicken did have good flavor.
I would not recommend this place. if you do decide go, skip the chicken and waffles!
Maybe this was just a bad morning for them. ♀️ ♀️

This review is hard. I was so happy to see a soul food restaurant. The signage on the building does not emphasize “Soul Food” . Yet, the menu does feed your spirit when you look at it. Soul Food is worth standing/sitting around for while your order is cooked/prepared. It’s the kind of meal where leftovers are even pleasing to eat the next day. I ordered my food to go. I suggest going early. The banana pudding was clearly separating banana juices from the pudding. I threw it away with my leftovers. The portions size was satisfying. The prices were competitive. There is two hour free limited parking in front of the cafe.

If you’re in Covina and craving some mouth-watering BBQ, you need to check out this little gem of a restaurant! BB, the owner, and DJ, her amazing employee, run a lovely boutique spot right in central downtown. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with welcoming smiles and the inviting smell of delicious food that draws you right in.
I tried their Big Daddy Burrito, and let me tell you—it was absolutely phenomenal. Stuffed with perfectly smoked meats and just the right amount of sauce, it’s the perfect BBQ burrito. But the star of the show was their Smoked Brisket Sandwich paired with mac ‘n’ cheese and BBQ beans—an absolute flavor explosion!
The atmosphere is fantastic too. The music playlist is on point, creating the perfect vibe while you enjoy your meal. And the customer service? Exceptional! They went above and beyond, sharing all the details about their food and even gave me a sample of their amazing greens. I left full, but still wanting more because everything was just that good!
If you’re a BBQ lover or just looking for a great spot to eat, make sure to visit BB’S Cafe on Citrus. You won’t be disappointed!

If you know the expression, “the cook put their foot in it…” when food is good… At BB’s, they put their entire leg in it! (I’m literally doing the Stanky Leg dance) The food is a throwback to Georgia / Louisiana flavors, and so is the hospitality. The catfish was light and crispy. The greens were cooked well with the slight notes of smoked pork. The Mac & cheese was balanced and cheesy, not heavy or greasy. The waffles… oh my the waffles, it’s a must try! BB’s makes Roscoe’s look and taste like Clifton’s cafeteria food… so much better. Such a diamond, I doubled my order TO-GO. IYKYK… Now you know, so GO!
