BBQ is very personal, but I thought the food was very good. Solid potato salad, great mac n’ cheese, and the pulled pork was great. Nice variety of sauces as well. Only complaint is the price – $13 for a plate of pulled pork and 2 sides is pretty steep. Portion size was huge, it would be nice to have a slightly smaller portion for a more lunch-friendly price.

We have eaten here twice and taken out once. The service is good and they seem to do more take-out than sit-down but the food is good and there is a wide array of sauces for every taste. The pulled pork is moist, the hot smoked sausage is very good. The collard greens could be kicked up a bit. The best deal is the Sandwich Special that seems to be always available. Piled high with meats and comes with a drink. Bring an appetite!

Delicious homemade BBQ! We are definitely going back. The restaurant is cafeteria style. You order your food and sit down in a large dining room with plenty of televisions for entertainment. The staff brings your meals to you.
The ribs were tender and perfect. All of the food was homemade, which you don’t see too often these days.
The staff was friendly (I think it’s husband and wife). We went on Sunday at 4 pm so we were the only ones in the restaurant. This place is a hidden gem!

Had a great dinner this evening. We tried the BBQ chicken, spinach and mashed potatoes. Real comfort food, prepared with care. We also brought home ribs for our son. They were juicy, tender and perfectly cooked. We definitely will be back! This place is a hidden gem!

Love the food! Great BBQ for the price. Can’t make your mind up between BBQ or Pizza tonight? Have both! Great calzones, stromboli, pizza. The Gut Buster and loaded fries are a great meal to split for 2 people. Parking lot always seems empty, which worries me cause it’d be a shame if this place closed, but I order takeout here every month and the food quality is always great!

Venue: Exterior is not very inviting, but interior decor is decent. Somewhat feels like a former Italian restaurant that was slightly modified to fit a fusion menu of pizzeria/southern bbq. Med-large dining area. Was concerned that there was only one other diner at 12:15 pm on a Wednesday so not entirely sure what that was about. So can’t really comment on the atmosphere as there was none.
Food: My companion and I had the same pulled pork sandwich on a toasted buttery brioche bun with different cheeses and no other toppings. Flavor was excellent and the toasted bun aided in that. A little wet/greasy on the bottom, but acceptable considering that the pork was perfectly moist.
Service: Cashier was not very personable, but not rude either. Could benefit from a simple smile or offer a greeting that makes customers feel more welcome. Order took longer to be served than expected, especially since there were no other patrons waiting for food (15 mins).
Price: High for a sandwich ($8), but not unreasonable. I suppose it’s easier to pay more when the food is good.
Would I return? Yes, they’ve earned a second visit.

Good food – veggies actually good despite the BBQ focus on meat.
Brisket was great.
The owner is a good person and a great cook, but not a master communicator. I saw another customer throw a tantrum about having to wait and the owner was a kind of a loss about how to handle it.

UPDATE: BBQ BBQ Came through and rectified the situation that we had with our party. Nobody likes to have problems but the way you handle those problems is the real test. The management got this right. Thanks
The food was adequate. But we were treated in a way that will have us not return. We attempted to have an event at the location. They set up a buffet for a group we were bringing. We set up the event on a Sunday evening where we were the only customers in an otherwise empty restaurant. This was a Youth sports team get together for parents and kids. Approx 20 kids and 20 Adults. I talked to an employee at the beginning and said some people would not be eating and we would get an exact count. Upon check out we let them know that 20 adults and 14 kids had eaten. They insisted that 21 adults and 22 kids had eaten. In reality we later found out there were actually only 21 kids in attendance… there were a couple kids that ATE nothing at all… and a couple others that parents bought different food for them to eat… the restaurant still felt it was ok to charge them again for the SEAT… the SEAT in an empty restaurant… As I said the food was adequate… Not exactly what was discussed prior to coming in but adequate… The way we were treated was very short sighted… They made about $100 extra that night… and alienated 12 local families that will now never return… In general the food was adequate but over priced and I can’t recommend it… Disappointed Rib Lover!

We just ordered takeout on a whim and we were not dissapointed. Wings , ribs and a personal Garden Pizza: everything was great. Collard greens were good but the missing 5th star was for the Mac and cheese that was only so so.
