Reviews
They have excellent shawarma, broast fried chicken (not regular fried) definitely better than the kfc style, pizzas (chicken tikka and veggies).
Turkish Adana kababs best followed by lamb cubes, chicken tandoori and beef Bihari.
Hands down best Shinwari kadai!!
Fresh fruit juices ( orange and sugar cane are the best), fresh coconut water.
Smash burgers, Chicken Alfredo were awesome too.
Will recommend all halal foodies full marks!!
This is a true Punjabi hub, offering a wide variety of food, including pizzas and burgers. We ordered the Spicy Zinger, which was finger-licking . The buns were fresh and delicious. They have recently started serving different karahi dishes. We ordered the mutton and chicken Shinwari karahi, Hands down, the best karahi in the whole DFW area. Paired with their signature Roghni Naan, it was truly finger-licking food. We can’t wait to come back and try it again!
When it came time to pay, we were still charged for eight wings, with no apology or effort to make things right. At the very least, they should have either comped the wings or recooked the five that were left.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we’ve faced such problems at this restaurant. Just last month, a similar incident occurred, and my wife even complained to the owner. While the food itself is generally ok, the service is consistently poor.
This seems to be a common issue in many Desi restaurants. A lack of basic understanding of customer service. This is a sit-down restaurant, not a fast-food joint. Guests should expect attentive service, yet the waitstaff often seem untrained. Many of them have never worked in American restaurants and operate with a “back home” mindset, which doesn’t translate well here.
At times, it feels as though the restaurant thinks they’re doing us a favor by serving us. But we’re not eating langar, we’re paying customers at a sit-down establishment. We deserve proper service and respect for the money we spend, not indifference or neglect.
