BBQ Joe’s Country Cooking & Catering is a family-owned business in High Point, NC that has been striving for excellence ever since the vision of owning and operating a barbecue restaurant came to us during a New Year’s Eve church service on December 31, 2004. We were blessed enough to see our vision become a reality, but we continually look for ways to improve our restaurant, as well as our event and corporate catering services. Our goals are to offer exceptional food, great taste and excellent service, from our house to yours.

I was debating on what to grab for dinner tonight. I hate spending my money and getting cold food or old food, but BBQ Joe’s was on the money this evening. My plate was delicious and VERY well worth my dollars. I could have drove back down there, walked in the kitchen and kissed the entire staff!!! Keep up the good work you guys.

For years I have been passing this place by, even after getting a recommendation from a friend. That all changed recently as I finally gave it a try. Inside the place is clean and looks nice. You order at a counter and they bring the food to you. The menu was large with plenty of choices. I stopped for breakfast and sure glad I did. The service was fast and friendly. The food came out hot and fresh. Biscuits were huge and tasted very good. Light and airy cooked just right. Hash browns were nice and crispy without being oily. Portion sizes were good. Over all I would highly recommend this place for breakfast. Pictured is a steak egg and cheese biscuit combo. Tasted even better than it looks!

The workers are nice and friendly. The food was hot and delicious. The sweet potato casserole was amazing, and the pulled chicken was tender. We will definitely be back.

Hi My Googles!! Wow!! This Place Is Absolutely Super Fantastic!! Mel Who Looked Like A Movie Star In Character For A Movie And Her Staff Are So Sweet, Endearing, And Considerate. Outstandingly Friendly. From The Moment I Entered To Leaving. And The Food Was Super Tasty And Fresh. They Give You More Than Your Money Can Buy. I wouldn’t Waste Not One Dime On Any Fast Food Breakfast Like Mc Donald’s, Wendy, Taco Bell, Burger !! Not Even Cracker Barrell Can Compare To Them!! They Get And Then Some!! And Plenty of Room to Dine In or The Drive -Thru. Plus, They Make You Feel That Good Ole Southern Hospitality That Is So Missing In Today’s World. Thank You Mel And Company For Treating This Senior Disabled Woman With The Upmost Dignity And Respect. I Will Be A Lifetime Customer!!

While a little out of the way for me, this was worth the trip. The waitress was pleasant, the service was prompt, and the food was good. There was nothing superlative about the restaurant or its food which is why I am giving it four stars: it was homemade southern cooking done right, but not exceedingly well. The restaurant was a bit dimly lit, but other than that, I think a solid 4/4.5 is an appropriate rating for this place.

Stoppee in onbour travels back home to south louisiana. I had a brisket plate with mac and cheese and fried okra and capt tom had a turkey plate. Everything was excellent. Brisket was nice and smokey, super juicy, and tender. Paired that with either their house sauce or the spicy sauce and you are in for a real treat. The sides were good, but the real star of the show was those hush puppies shaped like onion rings. Man o man were those good. Especially with a little of that spicey sauce on em. Highly recommend.

I have eaten at barbecue Joe’s ever since they opened the door! I have always thoroughly enjoyed their food! Except for today, it absolutely sucked! I don’t know who’s cooking there, but the food had no flavor at all. The gravy was watery and runny absolutely no taste! I’m very highly disappointed.

After our trip to Pilot Mountain, our friend recommended BBQ Joe’s Country Cooking. We got to travel just to be here. This must be good. And BBQ Joe delivered the flavorful, unique, and delicious smoked meat I’ve ever tasted in this area. The sides are also excellently yummy. Seeing many elderly couples dining inside, this is something that tells me there’s this restaurant is distinct. Five stars for BBQ Joe’s Country Cooking.

So let me just start by saying we went in to the location at s. Main st and was not happy at all!!!! Ridiculous I got a half rack of ribs that were mediocre at best,the sides were horrible and cold when I said something they give me mashed potatoes in a bowl microwaved so much the plastic was almost melted. Beware and for the love of God don’t order the ribs. No management whatsoever!!! When Big Joe was here would not have happened. If I could give less than one star I definitely would
