Stopped by here yesterday for lunch. I had the brisket sandwich, chili dog, and red velvet cake. The brisket sandwich was amazing. It’s very juicy and flavorful. I also had the vinegar based sauce and it was perfect! Very large portion of brisket too. The chili dog was not that great to be honest but the owner said he doesn’t care about the hot dogs, I lay the bbq. The red velvet cake was simply wonderful. Very moist and full of flavor, it was a large slice that was very fairly priced too. Definitely stop by here for bbq and grad a slice of cake.

The brisket was devine. They make all their sauces in house and the hot was excellent. Husband loved the sauce so much, we bought an extra cup to take home. The Mac and cheese tastes like home made but kicked up just a notch with some garlic flare. The baked beans taste like home. The owner came out and spoke to us while we were there. Their crew was friendly. It was an overall great meal and experience!

Stopped by for lunch and had some of the best BBQ you can get around the area. Not only is it all very good but the servings are very generous. The brisket was great. It had great flavor, a good bark, and still tender as it should be. The chicken quarter was even better. Skin added great flavor, all the meat was juicy and plenty of flavor throughout. The bbq sauce to go with all of it was also very good. For sides I got cole slaw and Mac n cheese. Both sides were some of the best of each I’ve had for the area as well. Then to top it off the owner is also very nice. Checked in every one in there multiple times and loves to converse. Great experience all around will definitely be going again soon.

We went here for the first time because we saw they were advertising that Brunswick Stew was back. We’re originally from Georgia and used to good, thick Brunswick Stew, but about the only thing you can find in Alabama is Camp Stew, which is thin and more like a soup than a stew. BBQ Haven has Brunswick Stew that’s pretty close to what we’re used to eating; thick with lots of meat and vegetables. The flavor was a little too smokey for my wife, but I told her that it’s the closest thing to Georgia Brunswick Stew that we’ve found in 43 years of living in Alabama, so just be thankful that we found this place. She agreed. The gentleman who was there was apparently the chef and was very professional and courteous. We ordered our stew To Go, but he was checking with the people who were eating in the restaurant to make sure they were taken care of and had everything they needed.

We are from Huntsville and are here visiting family. This BBQ is some of the best we have ever eaten. I cannot explain how tender and heavenly the pork belly burnt ends are. This is hands down the best okra we have ever eaten, and the brisket just melts in your mouth.

The food is sooo good. We got the smoked wings and pulled pork. Let me tell you the wings are tender and seasoned to perfection! The pulled pork has a wonderful smoky flavor and absolutely amazing with their bbq sauce! Y’all this is the best bbq in town. We are going to try and get the brisket next week!

BBQ was on point. Great flavor, great bark on the ribs. Tender and delicious. Great sauces. Pitmaster (maybe owner?) came out to table and checked on folks. Dining room was kinda smokey but who cares, kinda adds to the atmosphere.

My husband and I moved here a month ago and have tried 3 other bbq places, but BBQ Haven has been the best! The people were very kind and friendly. Prices were perfect. The brisket was tender and juicy and melts in your mouth. Great smokey flavor. And the baked mac n cheese was amazing. The screened in patio with the fans was relaxing and cool. It was a great lunch! We’re definitely going to be back.

As always, the BBQ here is the best around the area. You can’t go wrong with anything you order here. It is that good. Everything is made with love here. The meats are authentically smoked to perfection. The beans are awesome. Seriously, if you have never been here, you need to stop in and try them.

A small place with big bursting flavor. Some how their fried okra tops every where else. Collard are spot on. The meats have terrific flavor.
