5 stars across the board. Anything from chicken or ribs to pulled pork and sausage is amazing. My personal favorite, along with my wife, is their brisket. I asked for a cut from the fatty side on the brisket and they got me just that! Amazing smoke ring on a well-seasoned slice of brisket like that makes a young and up-and-coming pit master like myself excited! Super friendly personnel and a building atmosphere that makes you reminisce on what the old days where like puts it top two on my barbecue joints list.

Our fire academy is at Goodfellow AFB. Anytime I’m in town for a course I make a stop here for some great bbq. The brisket is absolute money. The perfect amount of fat rendered down with the smoke ring made for the best brisket I’ve ever had. Cheers
