The food and service were absolutely amazing. The environment was peaceful, calm, and quiet—truly the perfect place to celebrate. There was also plenty of parking, which made everything so easy for our guests.
We couldn’t have asked for a better location or experience. Highly recommend!
We came in from Molalla while we were out Christmas tree searching, and the atmosphere was great right away. Steve, one of the owners, was on the counter cutting meat and talking with everyone coming through the door. It felt like a real hometown spot, not a chain pretending to be one.
Ryan, the other owner, came over and shared the story behind the interior. The place is built with 100 year old reclaimed wood and solid handmade tables. What stood out most, though, was the community support. He was proud of how they back Estacada sports teams, and you can tell it is genuine.
Food-wise, I had the 3-meat platter with mac and cheese.
Brisket was tender, not dry, with a good bark and a real smoke ring.
Pulled pork had solid flavor and was also not dry.
Burnt ends were good. I personally like mine a little crispier, but my wife ordered them and loved them.
The cornbread was slap your granny good, and the honey butter was perfect. Not an afterthought, not dry, just done right.
Their BBQ sauces were clearly homemade, not canned. You can taste the difference, and it matters.
My wife also had the beans and the coleslaw, and both were great. The beans had real flavor, and the coleslaw was fresh and balanced, not drowning in dressing.
The mac and cheese deserves its own shoutout. My niece is super picky and said it is the creamiest mac and cheese she has ever had, and she crushed it.
My brother is from Texas and had a two-meat platter. Even he gave it a thumbs up. If a Texan approves, you are in good hands.
We will absolutely be back.
We went here out of spite. Because the Christians dont want to support a Christian business because they are openly Christian. The meat was wonderful, the corn was great and the beans are awesome. The cornbread wasnt dry and the bbq sauce was perfect. The place was packed, but the workers were nice and in a good mood. When I got up to the register my called in order wasnt ready, they were apologetic and got the issue done quickly. Some of the customers were super rude and impatient, because people forget they arent the only customer that exists, but the workers still stayed positive and that can be hard to do! We will definitely be back!

You guys are weird for having an issue with scripture and a cross most people wont even notice. Do you boycott Hobby Lobby for selling christian based merchandise? Do you boycott Chik Fil A? Or only small town Christian businesses? You guys sound like you need to go to church and then have a nice brisket sandwich.
The bbq sauce I got sweet and spicy it was the bomb. I will be back the two lady’s that helped us made us feel like we are welcome for the family dinner anytime. Very friendly.
Restaurant is very beautiful.
