I stopped here and got a pound of brisket and a salad and I was very happy with the results. Everything was well made. There was a great smoke ring on the brisket and unlike a lot of places where you have to load it up with sauce, the meat stood on its own.

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and it was fairly busy. The line moved fast until one patron couldn’t decide which beer she wanted and asked to sample what seemed like every one. That’s not the fault of the establishment, just someone so self absorbed they couldn’t realize a line was growing ever longer behind her.

The food was edible but none of us were pleased. Ribs were dry, hard, and did not have enough seasoning. The potato salad, baked beans and garlic bread were okay. Brisket sandwich also needed seasoning and what you expect to pay $15.75 for a full sandwich turns into $21.75 when you ask for the full sandwich. Maybe they limit the amount of seasoning they use on the food to save money but that and their small portions of food for the price they charge will drive your customers away. Restrooms were dirty with tons of toilet paper on the floor that I had to skip over and then get unstuck from the bottom of my shoes.. just nasty.

Just tried there breakfast meals. Amazing. Also you can never go wrong with lunch. Finally they carry a great selection of IPA’S. Humble sea brewery is the best! Not available everywhere but BBQ 152 managed a deal to supply some of there best.

Love the vibe here. Pretty lowkey but can get busy for sure. Good portions of the food. Similar to Mission BBQ just with less sauce choices. The food was pretty good for California BBQ. Pulled pork was not incredible but still very good! Do yourself a favor and get the Mac n Cheese!!! Would come back.

It was really good food. I do wish the sandwich had more to it…like mayo, lettuce, jalapenos, etc. It was just bread and the meat. My other suggestion is mew tables. The outsiders picnic tables have benches that can’t be moved and I had to really lean over to eat my food.

As an Australian who was passing through this area I have been stopping in and trying as many American BBQ places as I can. BBQ 152 is easily one of the best, great food, beautiful layout, and friendly staff. I ended up going back four times. Highly recommended!
